WATCH: Son Of 9/11 Victim Blasts Ilhan Omar During Memorial Service

Nicholas Haros Jr. is the son of a woman who was killed on Sept. 11th, 2001 when jihadist-hijacked planes crashed into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 died that sunny fateful day. And there has still been no justice wrought for the largest terrorist attack in history on U.S. soil. Haros took the opportunity to slam Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) during a 9/11 memorial on Wednesday for callously referring to the 9/11 terrorist attacks as an event where “some people did something.”

“Good morning, brothers and sisters in good faith — listen, some people did something,” Nicholas Haros Jr. told a crowd during the annual anniversary ceremony at Ground Zero. He also wore a t-shirt proclaiming the same thing.

“Some people did something, said a freshman congresswoman from Minnesota, to support and justify the creation of [the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)] — today I am here to respond to you exactly who did what to whom,” he continued. “Madam, objectively speaking, we know who and what was done. There is no uncertainty about that. Why your confusion?” Good question.

Omar got this appropriate response from Haros because she delivered a keynote speech in March to fundraise for CAIR where she made her infamous statement. Did she think the victims of 9/11 wouldn’t take notice and offense? Or did she just not care? Omar got massive backlash after a video from the event surfaced where she was shown urging Muslim Americans to “raise h*ll” and further downplaying what happened on September 11th, 2001. Disgraceful.

“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar stated. She does not mention they were terrorists or that she shares their Muslim faith either. That was very deliberate.

From The Daily Wire:

“While the comments received widespread condemnation, Omar’s fellow “Squad” members Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) swiftly came to her defense. Tlaib appeared on news programs accusing critics of taking Omar’s words out of context and having a bias against women of color.

“Both Omar and Tlaib are vocal supporters of CAIR, a notable pro-Palestinian organization with longstanding ties to Islamic terror groups. The U.S. Department of Justice listed CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in funding millions of dollars to Hamas as part of the 2008 terror financing bust of the Texas-based Holy Land Foundation.

“Ocasio-Cortez also backed Omar after Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) called her comments “unbelievable.” Ocasio-Cortez fired back, accusing the former Navy SEAL of not properly supporting 9/11 victims and first responders.

“Crenshaw, however, served five deployments overseas — and while on his third combat tour, he was hit by an IED blast during a mission in Afghanistan that destroyed his right eye and badly injured his left eye. After multiple surgeries, Crenshaw regained sight in his left eye and went on to deploy overseas two more times.

“On that day, 19 Islamic terrorists, members of al-Qaeda, killed over 3,000 people and caused billions of dollars of economic damage. Is that clear?” Haros said. “But as to whom, I was attacked, your relatives and friends were attacked, our constitutional freedoms were attacked, and our nation’s founding on Judeo-Christian principles were attacked.”

“That’s what some people did. Got that now? We are here today, congresswoman, to tell you and the Squad just who did what to whom,” he continued. “Show respect in honoring them, please. American patriotism in your position demands it.”

“Omar and Tlaib became America’s first Muslim congresswomen after winning their respective elections in 2018. The duo, along with Ocasio-Cortez, have been embroiled in allegations of anti-Semitism and have expressed anti-American sentiments since taking office.”

Frances Haros was killed while working in the south tower as a receptionist at a securities brokerage. She was 76. Haros Jr. also worked in the south tower but was out of town on a business trip. It was his lucky day… not so much for his mom.

Now retired, Haros lives in Ocean County, NJ, and told The Post that Omar’s words were “cruel and hurtful.” “An apology would be nice,” he added. I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one if I were him.

Last year, Haros used the 9/11 memorial service to rip politicians. He didn’t single anyone out, but he called on politicians to: “Stop using the bones and ashes of our loved ones as props for your political theater.”

Eighteen years ago, 19 terrorists from the Middle East slaughtered innocent Americans. Where’s Omar’s rage over that? She doesn’t have any. But Haros Jr. and those that survived that day do and they don’t suffer the cruelty of those such as Ilhan Omar easily. No American should. Her sympathies lie with terrorists, not Americans and every word out of her mouth screams it.

Never forget what happened that day. Never.
