UNREAL: Lib Actress’ Sick Message Caught Right Behind Kavanaugh – Guess Who Invited Her

As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service in the world, RWN offers the following information published by ABC News:

Actress Alyssa Milano showed her “solidarity” for Dr. Christine Blasey Ford Thursday as the professor faced questions from members of the Senate Judiciary Committee after accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.

“I felt like I needed to be here to show my solidarity for Dr. Ford,” Milano said from the hearing room. “On this day that will be very difficult for her.”

Milano traveled from Los Angeles to the nation’s capital to be present for the historic hearing.

Milano has been an outspoken #MeToo activist for almost a year now and was among the first to tweet out her powerful #MeToo story, inspiring hundreds of other women to also come forward.

Milano, who sat in the middle of the hearing room, said she was a guest of California Senator Dianne Feinstein.

While Ford answered questions about how Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge, whom she also accused of the alleged assault, laughed while attacking her, Milano was spotted in the hearing room in tears, dabbing her eyes with a tissue.

Kavanaugh and Judge have denied assaulting Ford.

Milano recalls being “almost 20” when she was watching the 1991 Anita Hill hearings.

“I remember thinking what a strong, amazing, solid woman she was to come forward,” Milano recalled of the woman who accused Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment. “What a service she was doing for all women.”

More than two decades after the Hill hearings, which concluded with Thomas being confirmed onto the Supreme Court, Milano says “We are in a different time.”

“Women are standing together now in solidarity,” she said.

After Kavanaugh testified, Milano slammed what she sees as a double standard between men and women, tweeting: “I will say this…if a woman were to yell, interrupt and cry while being questioned, people would call her unhinged or say she had a melt down.”

Fox News has more on the facts of this disconcerting situation with a biased star being allowed at this sensitive hearing:

Alyssa Milano attended Thursday’s hearing in Capitol Hill, where Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The 45-year-old actress told reporters on Capitol Hill she was attending the hearing as a guest of Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. She traveled from her California home to Washington, D.C. to support Dr. Ford, who has accused the judge of sexually assaulting her in the early 1980s.

“I’m here because I feel any man’s misogyny shouldn’t supersede humanity,” the “Charmed” actress said. “…I felt like I needed to be here to show solidarity and my support to Ford for this day that surely will be incredibly difficult for her.”

Milano also explained to reporters why it was “important” for her to be at the hearing.

“It took me a very long time as a survivor to come to terms with and be public with my own abuse and assault,” she shared. “And I know how hard it is. And I know what she’s had to go through to be here and present and answer those questions.”

She continued: “And I think a lot of women throughout the country and the world understand the idea of not wanting to talk about it, wanting to make it go away, not wanting to deal with it, and putting it out of our heads and minds, so it was important for me to support her and to support survivors everywhere.”

Milano, a prominent activist for the #MeToo movement, said the 1991 confirmation hearings for now-Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas built her a foundation for understanding sexual harassment. Thomas was accused of sexual harassment by professor Anita Hill, who also testified before a Senate committee back then.

“I remember that was a horrible situation…it was so much a part of our daily discussion,” Milano said.

Milano believes Thursday’s hearing could have more impact than the 1991 hearing with Hill.

“I think we’re in a different time. I think women are standing together in solidarity, more so than we were in ’91 and I think women throughout the country are not going to let it be what it was,” she said.

Dr. Ford, 51, claims that while they were teenagers, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed, attempted to forcibly remove her clothes and held his hand over her mouth to prevent her from screaming.

In her opening statement on Thursday, Ford said the alleged incident “has had the most lasting impact on my life.”

Milano, along with other celebrities, have been vocal about their support for Ford. Milano criticized President Trump when he questioned why Ford never filed a police report after the alleged sexual assault.

“I was sexually assaulted twice. Once when I was a teenager. I never filed a police report and it took me 30 years to tell my parents,” the actress tweeted last Friday. “If any survivor of sexual assault would like to add to this please do so in the replies. #MeToo”

Milano said Thursday she has reached out to Ford’s counsel through email to see if the professor wanted to “speak or have coffee.”

Kavanaugh has vehemently denied the allegations and has said he wanted to testify to clear his name ever since the accusation came to light. He told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum that he wants a “fair process” where he can defend his integrity.

HA Ha! McConnell To Call Vote On Ocasio’s Green New Deal, Schumer’s PISSED

Published

on

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, who on a good day looks like he’s sucking on a lemon, ripped into Republicans for planning to force a vote on the Green New Deal. They want everyone on record concerning where they stand for this insanity. Schumer doesn’t want the Dems pinned down and he’s really ticked at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for calling the vote. McConnell is trolling the Dems and I love it.

Schumer called the plan a “stunt,” a “cheap, cynical ploy” and “a game of political gotcha.” Considering Schumer wrote the proverbial book on dirty politics, he should know. Actually, it is a valid move to make politicians say they are either for or against the Green New Deal. “The Republican leader announced he’s going to bring up a resolution he intends to vote against,” Schumer said on the Senate floor. “Now that is what the American people hate about Congress — the pointless partisan games.” No sir… they hate the corrupt leftists tearing us apart.

Schumer isn’t the only Democrat calling foul here. They are terrified of being tied to a plan that would literally destroy the US and everything we hold dear. But most of the Democratic field running for the presidency in 2020 has already rallied behind the deal. Even so, Schumer, joined by colleagues on the Senate floor, said: “Bring it on.” He said Democrats “believe that we need to do something about climate change” and added: “Do Republicans?” Make no mistake, this has nothing to do with climate change and everything to do with greed, graft, and corruption.

McConnell promised a Senate vote on the Green New Deal last week. He wants Democrats to go on record. Nice tee-up for the 2020 race and reelecting Trump. “I’ve noted with great interest the Green New Deal,” McConnell told reporters. “And we’re going to be voting on that in the Senate. We’ll give everybody an opportunity to go on record and see how they feel about the Green New Deal.”

The Green New Deal was put forth by Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). She wants to transform our economy and way of life in an attempt to fight faux climate change. It recently came under scrutiny after revelations that a related FAQ document included passages promising a job to “all people of the United States” – including those “unwilling to work” – and suggesting air travel could be made obsolete. And don’t even get me started on eliminating cow farts.

“We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast,” the now-deleted document also read. Then Ocasio-Cortez and her minions tried to claim that the doc was concocted by Republicans. She lied her ever-loving head off.

From Fox News:

“But McConnell’s move to bring the plan to a vote on the Senate floor will be a key test for Democratic presidential candidates such as Sens. Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, who are running on the progressive platform in 2020.

“While backing of the far-left proposal will ultimately improve their liberal bona fides and their support from the Democratic base, the support of the plan will undoubtedly be the target of attacks during the general election.

“President Trump has already begun attacking the Green New Deal, claiming it would “shut down American energy” and describing it as “a high school term paper that got a low mark” during a rally Monday in El Paso, Texas.

“Corbin Trent, a spokesman for Ocasio-Cortez, said that McConnell’s plan to bring the plan to the vote will only show “just how out of touch Republican politicians are with the American people.”

“Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass, a co-sponsor of the plan, also decried McConnell’s move.

“Don’t let Mitch McConnell fool you: this is nothing but an attempt to sabotage the movement we are building. He wants to silence your voice so Republicans don’t have to explain why they are climate change deniers. McConnell wants this to be the end, this is just the beginning,” Markey said.”

This is an attempt to wake America up and show them what will happen if the Democrats seize control. Al Gore never went away, he just co-opted the millennials and power-hungry climbers in the Democratic Party.

As Wealthy Flee New York, Cuomo Warns Budget Problems ‘Serious as a Heart Attack’

Published

on

The wealthy have been fleeing the socialist policies of New York for some time now. The flight of those who have money is speeding up however just as New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is warning of budget problems. He announced Monday that state income tax revenues plummeted by $2.8 billion since he introduced his new budget plan last month which means spending will have to be massively cut in the state. He says he needs to reconsider spending on schools, healthcare, and repairs to roads and bridges.

Instead of taking stock of his failing fiscal policies, Cuomo, of course, blamed President Trump’s new tax plan for the state’s problems. In actuality, it is high taxes on everything that is choking the life out of New York and businesses there. Socialists are great at giving stuff away until they run out of other people’s money… that would be the wealthy fleeing the state.

From Newsday:

“Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo on Monday announced a dramatic drop in state income tax revenue of $2.8 billion, which he says will prompt him to revise his 2019-20 budget and reconsider spending on schools, health care and repairs to roads and bridges.

“Cuomo, a Democrat, blamed the shortfall on a federal tax plan backed by Republican President Donald Trump. Cuomo said the law’s cap on deductions for state and local taxes at $10,000 was to blame and suggested it is, anecdotally, triggering high-earners to leave New York.

“At this point there is no doubt that the budget we put forward is not supported by the revenues,” Cuomo said at a State Capitol news conference. “It’s as serious as a heart attack.”

“Cuomo said he’s not certain what areas might need to be cut, but said the biggest spending areas now are education, health care, infrastructure and another phase-in of a previously approved middle-class tax cut.

“I fear it’s going to get worse before it gets better,” state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli said in a rare news conference with Cuomo. “It’s not all gloom and doom, but it’s a matter of very, very serious concern.” Tax revenues could rebound, he said, but he agreed with Cuomo that early indicators are not good.

“Cuomo has until mid-February to submit amendments to his budget, which came in at $175.2 billion when he unveiled it Jan. 15.

“The announcement also serves notice to the legislature, which for the first time in most of a half-century is controlled by Democrats.

“The Democratic majorities in the Senate and Assembly have several proposals to add to the budget. Cuomo will no longer have Senate Republicans as an ally for fiscally conservative measures. The Republicans lost the majority in the November elections.”

New York’s revenue problems can’t be blamed on Trump. I don’t blame those who are successful for hightailing it out of New York. They get to keep a pittance of their hard-earned income. Between state, city, and federal taxation there’s not much left when these thieves are done. Note to Cuomo… those wealthy you are fleecing are the ones that actually work and pay taxes.

Cutting taxes and enticing business to the state is the way to go, but liberals can’t seem to wrap their heads around the concept. In fact, you have Marxists such as NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others in the Democratic Party who want to raise the top tax rate to a whopping 70% or more. They want to do away with billionaires too. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

It’s a good thing Cuomo will never be elected president. He would turn all of America into New York. As The Federalist put it, “Not since John F. Kennedy was President has there been a Democrat that understood lower taxes on the wealthy helps the poor.” And that certainly includes Cuomo.
