University Holds White Privilege Workshop To Tell Students They Are Racist – 9 Show Up

Published

on

A white privilege workshop was held last week on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. There are 30,000 students at the school and nine students showed up for the diverse farce. That sounds about right. The event was entitled: “White Consciousness Conversations for Students.” On the organizers’ page it said that it was for “students only.”

“Understanding the meaning and implications of whiteness and engaging in anti-racist practice is crucial in creating racial equity. This space is for all undergraduate and graduate students at UNC Charlotte who are interested in engaging in conversations to assist in their understanding of how racism is perpetuated individually, culturally, and systemically. This space is intended to be group-based, meaning we would love for participants to attend all sessions. Join in conversation with IEE staff as we work toward racial equity,” the page stated.

From The Daily Wire:

“By the way, the “IEE” is the Office of Identity, Equity, and Engagement. Yes, UNC has one of those.

“The total number of students in the audience for the first ‘White Consciousness Conversation,’ held Sept. 10, was nine — but two were students there not as participants but as journalists mainly to observe,” the College Fix reported. ” One was from The College Fix and another from the Niner Times campus newspaper.”

“Of the remaining seven students, five are members of the university’s conservative Young Americans for Freedom chapter, who were there more out of curiosity and concern about the nature of the seminar and its taxpayer-funded narrative as opposed to learning about how they allegedly perpetuate racism and inequality as Americans with white skin. Finally, the other two students attended because their professors offered them extra credit to do so, they told The Fix.”

“UNC Charlotte hosted the same type of event in 2018. In advertisements, only white people were invited. Campus officials were forced to reword the ads.

The two-hour meeting was led by two campus diversity facilitators who spoke on topics such as feminism, white privilege, toxic masculinity and LGBTQ equality, and outlined their own definition of racism, one that claims that while racial discrimination can be targeted at anyone, by anyone, racism itself stems inherently from white people and their “whiteness.”

At the end of the workshop, at least two conservative students said the information presented seemed focused on blaming white people and whiteness for racism.

“I went into the event with an open mind, I wanted to learn what my peers thought about how the concept of whiteness ties into racism, whether or not it is an issue on our campus, and how we, as students, can create change if it was necessary,” YAF member Kelly VonEnde told The College Fix.

“Other colleges have held similar events. The University of Rhode Island hosted an event “with speakers discussing topics such as ‘White Accountability,’ ‘Addressing Microaggressions,’ and more” in 2018, Campus Reform reported.

“This past June, Rutgers University hosted a workshop seeking to dismantle “white organizational culture.”

“Throughout the event, attendees will be taught to ‘understand what is white United States-ian culture; understand the beliefs and values of white United State-ian culture; recognize characteristics of white United States-ian culture in organizations; begin to explore the impact the culture has on professionals in the field; and learn antidotes to dismantling white organizational culture,'” Campus Reform reported.”

The statements from the facilitators of the event were vague and contradictory and “attempted to distort evidence in order to advance a specific narrative.”

YAF member Cameron Smith said: “University-sponsored events like these are deeply concerning, especially when some students who aren’t as politically active may hear one-sided theories, which are divisive without being shown any plausible solutions to their proposed issue of racial tension on campus.” That’s exactly correct. It’s racial Marxism that is being pushed to divide Americans and pit them against each other.

No one is interested in this racial silliness. No wonder they couldn’t get any students to show up for it — of the nine there, none of them were there really for the event. Perhaps there’s hope for college students after all.

B-List Actors Alyssa Milano & Rosie O’Donnell Head Trump ‘Impeachment Task Force’

You would think this is hilarious satire..but it’s not. Has-been actors truly believe that America looks to them for political advice. I know..I can’t stop laughing.

This is how insane and delusional the left is. Remember how they told us to accept the 2008 election results and just deal with it? Here we are…and they still can’t handle that Trump is President. They stay on twitter for hours..ranting, whining and lying about the President. The left should never ever allowed in power. Let these lunatics be a reminder to you when you go to vote in 2020.

Dear Hollywood has-beens, Americans don’t give a flying crap about what you have to say. You ain’t going to impeach the President. He’s not going anywhere. For the sake of America..go away. Don’t lecture the people about politics. No one looks to you for what’s going on in our country.

Just wait until Trump wins 2020…..

Via The Daily Wire:

If you’re worried about the current state of democracy, fear not: Alyssa Milano, Rosie O’Donnell, and their rich anti-Trump friends are here to save America … by working to remove the duly elected president from office.

Feel better now?

According to a Newsweek report, a group called The Democratic Coalition has created a star-studded “Impeachment Task Force” (seriously) “seeking to hold Trump ‘accountable for his betrayal of America.’”

The task force is “designed to lead rapid response to Trump during the impeachment inquiry,” according to The Democratic Coalition co-founder and Twitter #Resistance king Scott Dworkin.

In addition to Milano and O’Donnell, the group has landed actors Ron Perlman, George Takei, Debra Messing, and Tom Arnold to use their “massive social media following to protect House Democrats in the front lines of the impeachment inquiry on Trump.”

“The task force launched a fundraising effort and basic plan on Thursday. The group has already started meeting and is set to go live with its website next week,” Newsweek reported.

Dworkin pointed to “Trump’s propaganda machine” as motivation in the creation of his elite task force.

“Trump’s propaganda machine is going to be in overdrive for the foreseeable future, so we need to be fighting every day, in every way,” he said.

“For now, impeachment is the only way to hold him accountable for his betrayal of America,” the task force’s chairman Jon Cooper added.

Dworkin is extremely optimistic that his ragtag group of celebs “will without a doubt, absolutely, overpower Trump’s propaganda machine.”

As you might recall, during the 2016 presidential election, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton had scores of celebrities come out to support her publicly — such as Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, LeBron James, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Bruce Springsteen, Robert De Niro, Lady Gaga, Jon Bon Jovi, Meryl Streep, Amy Schumer, and many, many others. As you might also recall, Hillary lost the 2016 election.

But it’s different this time. Or something.

“We’ve been one of the key groups fighting his propaganda machine for three and a half years,” Dworkin bragged. “We’ve learned a lot. And it’s kind of led us to this moment.”

WATCH: Photo Of College Student Praying Over Deputy In Restaurant Goes VIRAL

In today’s highly charged political climate, it’s always nice to have something in the news that isn’t negative. Last weekend, we got some rare, good news for a change.

A sheriff’s deputy & his wife were dining at a restaurant in east-central Florida when they were approached by a young man who asked if he could pray for the officer.

The encounter left the deputy’s wife in tears, and the rest of us cheering.

The Tampa Bay Times reported:

“For all of the venom and vitriol that fill our social media feeds, there are feel-good stories, too.

A reminder came this past weekend, when the wife of a Florida deputy shared a photo on Facebook describing an encounter at a Zaxby’s restaurant in DeLand in which a young man approached her husband, Cameron, and offered to pray over him for his protection.

“Tonight was a night that I will never forget. This picture is a reminder of God’s constant love and perfect timing. Tonight we had an amazing encounter with an incredible young man named Juan. He came up to Cameron and asked is he could pray over him and his protection. After crying my eyes out we got to have an amazing conversation with this gentleman. He was on FIRE for God and you could feel His presence in the room. He said that he had felt compelled to talk to us and to pray over Cameron, Justine Tucker wrote.”

“The man, Juan O’Neal, is a student at Stetson University, according to his Facebook page.

As of Wednesday morning, the post had more than 42,000 reactions, 4,900 comments and 21,000 shares.

The post especially connected with Facebook users thirsting for positive news about people in their community.

“This is one of the main reasons why I stay connected to FB,” responded Reginald D. Alston. “There is love, kindness, compassion, respect, and general sense of caring among most people that seems to take a backseat to negativity and chaos all too often.”

“With everything that is wrong in America today, thank you for sharing this,” wrote Emily Broome Garrison. “It’s proof there’s still so much that is right!”

“People need these stories,” echoed Rachelle Bman.

Said Max Ludwig, “It’s great to wake up and see a beautiful post like this.”

“This gave me goosebumps!” wrote Monica Diaz.

Wondered Robert Cuccio, “Why are there not more stories of wonderful people like Juan?”

Tucker posted a segment from the local Fox station that covered the interaction.

WTVM9 reported of O’Neal:

“O’Neal says he never intended for the photo to go viral. In fact, he didn’t intend for a photo to be taken at all.

He says that he simply wanted to pray over Volusia County Sheriff’s Deputy Cameron Tucker.

“He grew up you know, dad is a [retired] police officer, a [retired] detective with the Columbus Police Department. So he knows some of the struggles, some of the things his dad had to go through,” said Juan’s mother Leisa O’Neal. “So for him to see another officer, he had an instant connection I’m sure, so it’s no big deal. I’m sure he was compelled to pray for him for everything that is going on in the world and the community so I think it was something he felt like he needed to do.”

“I just did what I felt like God was telling me to do,” said Juan O’Neal.

Juan is a senior at Stetson University in Florida. His mother says he is planning on commissioning into the U.S. Army in May.”

While all around us we seem to be bombarded with negativity, it’s great to see some of the next generation who haven’t forgotten what’s important in this life.

Hats off to O’Neal, and may he be successful in his endeavors.
