Trump’s Sudden Final Message To H.W. Gives Bush Family Unshakeable Chills

President Trump gave a final tribute to former President George H.W. Bush during the White House Hanukkah celebration Thursday afternoon.

“This week, America is grieving the loss of President George H.W. Bush, who is being laid to rest today at his library in Texas. Yesterday, Melania and I were honored to attend the state funeral at the National Cathedral and to pay our respects to the entire Bush family. The memorial was a beautiful tribute to President Bush’s extraordinary life and a noble legacy to public service. He was a wonderful man. We will always remember this great statesmen and beloved American patriot.He really was very special.”

This was a very classy, respectful and moving tribute to the former President who passed away last Friday at the age of 94. President Trump and First Lady along with Vice President Mike Pence attended the state funeral Wednesday.

The former President George H.W. Bush had wrote President a Trump a letter back in January 2017 expressing his regret for not being able to attend the inauguration due to ill health.

“I want you to know that I wish you the very best as you begin this incredible journey of leading our great country,” he added. “If I can ever be of help, please let me know.”

President Trump responded by thanking him for his ‘wonderful letter’.

Despite not so nice past comments made about President Trump, The Bush family assured Trump this past summer that the funeral of patriarch George H.W. Bush would not include any criticism of the sitting President. The funeral was a classy and beautiful send off to a an American Patriot.

President Donald Trump paid his final tribute to deceased former President George H.W. Bush at the beginning of the White House Hanukkah reception Thursday afternoon.

“This week, America is grieving the loss of President George H.W. Bush, who is being laid to rest today at his library in Texas. Yesterday, Melania and I were honored to attend the state funeral at the National Cathedral and pay our respects to the entire Bush family,” Trump said.

The president continued to praise Bush’s state funeral Wednesday, saying that it was “a beautiful tribute to President Bush’s noble life and public service,” adding, “We will always remember this great statesman and American patriot.”

Trump attended the state funeral Wednesday along with all former living presidents, including George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. His former 2016 presidential rival Hillary Clinton was also in attendance as former first lady.
