Former President George H.W. Bush sadly passed away yesterday. President Trump is now planning to attend the Washington funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC of George Bush Sr. and he just blindsided Americans with huge news. He is designating Dec. 5th as a national day of mourning for the former president.
President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and Vice President Mike Pence all sent their condolences to the Bush family on the passing of George Bush Sr. Some are saying that he wanted to be with his recently departed bride Barbara Bush for the holidays. Their love was a story of its own. The nation mourns a president who served his country faithfully and led with not only common sense, dignity, and valor… but humor as well. He was not perfect, but no leader is. The Daily Caller has more on this sad passing:
President Donald Trump paid tribute to deceased former President George H.W. Bush in an announcement about his death late Friday night and will attend his funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
“Melania and I join with a grieving Nation to mourn the loss of former President George H.W. Bush, who passed away last night,” he said, adding, “with sound judgement, common sense, and unflappable leadership, President Bush guided our Nation, and the world, to a peaceful and victorious conclusion of the Cold War.”
“Along with his full life of service to country, we will remember President Bush for his devotion to family—especially the love of his life, Barbara. His example lives on, and will continue to stir future Americans to pursue a greater cause. Our hearts ache with his loss,” they continued.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also issued a Saturday statement noting that “the President and First Lady were notified late last night of President George H.W. Bush’s passing. President Trump is scheduled to speak with President George W. Bush this morning and offer his condolences on behalf of himself, the First Lady, and the entire country.”
“A state funeral is being arranged with all of the accompanying support and honors. The President will designate Wednesday, December 5th as a National Day Of Mourning. He and the First Lady will attend the funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.”
Trump also tweeted a personal tribute Saturday morning saying:
President George H.W. Bush led a long, successful and beautiful life. Whenever I was with him I saw his absolute joy for life and true pride in his family. His accomplishments were great from beginning to end. He was a truly wonderful man and will be missed by all!

Bernie Sanders: “There Is No Middle Ground,” ‘We’re Going To Stop Using Gas & Coal’
Gotta love when Millionaire communists lecture you on what you can and can’t do. Good thing he will never be elected President!
Via The Daily Caller:
2020 candidate and self-described democratic socialist Bernie Sanders said that the United States has to stop using gasoline and coal, and that “there ain’t no middle ground” on the issue.
“It is no secret that we must transition away from fossil fuels, period. End of discussion. There ain’t no middle ground…There is no middle ground,” Sanders said during a speech Thursday in California.
The Independent Vermont senator released a climate plan Thursday modeled after the “Green New Deal” that called for $16 trillion in new spending to fight climate change.
A key part of the plan is “Justice for frontline communities,” which refers to “under-resourced groups, communities of color, Native Americans, people with disabilities, children and the elderly – to recover from, and prepare for, the climate impacts, including through a $40 billion Climate Justice Resiliency Fund.”
Sanders’ plan, which is modeled as a “Green New Deal,” also targets “environmental racism.”
“The Green New Deal must serve to address modern and historical inequities and environmental racism,” it reads.
Sanders has sought to separate himself from the field of other 2020 Democratic contenders by proposing far-left plans on a variety of issues.
On health care, Sanders supports a “Medicare for All” style plan which would eliminate private health insurance plans and give free health care to illegal immigrants. Continue Reading

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders introduced a $16.3-trillion plan similar to the Green New Deal on Thursday, which he says will create 20 million jobs.

Bernie Sanders just spoke at a rally in downtown Sacramento. Trump supporters showed up & they didn't attack or beat anyone. They just politely discussed their political beliefs with those in attendance. Wonder if MSM will cover that. @realDonaldTrump @DonaldJTrumpJr @Scavino45 pic.twitter.com/e1e8gAbZPW

“As President, Bernie Sanders will boldly embrace the moral imperative of climate change and mobilize the political will necessary for a wholesale transformation of our society, with massive investments in sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and a transformation of our transportation system,” his plan reads.
