Sarah Sanders Breaks Down In Tears In Front Of Reporters After Bravely Making Personal Announcement

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the pillar of professionalism and grace under fire. Since being hired for the role and having to conduct frequent press briefings to the mainstream media wolves, she’s been a perpetual target of the most ruthless attacks. The media she briefs aren’t the only ones who come at her. Late night talk show hosts and celebrities in Hollywood have also enjoyed making fun of her to no end. After awhile, it would take its toll on anyone regardless of your strength and solid sense of self-worth.

Sarah has still has to do her job daily in the face of all of that torment and does so flawlessly. From how she holds herself, there’s no telling what she really feels inside. However, she recently lost her composure, and rightfully so, when she broke down in tears in front of reporters as she began to make a very personal announcement.

President Trump knew what he was doing when he put this incredible woman in this position. She’s the very best for the job and more importantly, has Trump’s back. There’s no question how much she genuinely respects him and the job he’s doing as our nation’s leader. Proving that, was when she began to cry while revealing what she found on his desk.

Western Journalism reports:

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders grew visibly emotional during a press briefing Thursday as she read from a 10-year-old letter recently sent to President Donald Trump from a Tennessee man named Joseph.

The father of an Air Force master sergeant currently on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan, Joseph wrote the letter while his son was serving in Iraq, to remind him of everything that was at stake.

“Please don’t lose sight of your purpose,” Joseph had written. “You’re the only hope and glimmer of light for the good, innocent men, women and children that you are protecting. This may be hard for you to see or understand.

“Most people know that all of you are there because you volunteered to be there. Your actions and dedication are seen by people throughout the world as without a doubt the most heroic action of any person which can be made.

“You and the soldiers standing next to you from all of the other countries are the pride of not only the nations they represent, but every individual that yearns to be free,” the letter concluded. “Stand tall, my son, and be steadfast. For it is you who are the defender of freedom.”

As she read it, the emotion from the podium was palpable. Like Trump, Sanders has a deep respect for the men and women who serve our country. It was personal to her to make this announcement and obviously important.

“We owe it to the servicemen and women like the master sergeant who have fought in our name in Afghanistan for 17 years and to the families who have watched them go to secure an honorable and lasting outcome to this conflict,” Sanders saids during the press briefing, after reading the letter aloud.

Western Journalism added:

Though many on both the right and left have complained over the president’s just-announced decision to escalate the United States’ war in Afghanistan, it’s clear by Joseph’s poignant words why we can’t give up now when we’ve already come this far.

Closing up the briefing, Sanders noted that Joseph told Trump he had been a police officer for 30 years and that he sent the letter to the president in the hopes he’d read it.

“I’m glad to say that he did earlier today,” she said.

Each citizen is so important and special to the president, that he read this letter and kept it within reach, despite receiving an overwhelming amount of mail daily, most likely. He promised to work for the “average” American and our military and is doing just that. Part of Joseph’s words to his son also apply to Sanders and Trump as well: “Please don’t lose sight of your purpose.” America needs them both to remain steadfast to their purpose through the challenges heaped on them by detractors. There’s no doubt they too will fight until the end.

Sanders At Dem Debate: It’s ‘Unfair’ To Compare My Socialism To Venezuela’s Socialism – WATCH

Bolshevik Bernie is now whining over his socialism showing. I’m not kidding. Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) claimed it was “extremely unfair” to equate his radical leftist policies to those of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro during Thursday’s Democratic presidential primary debate. Never mind that Maduro’s tyranny is the logical end to all socialism — Bernie says his socialism is different. Right.

Sanders said this in response to a question from moderator Jorge Ramos at the debate. Ramos may be many things, but he’s also a vocal opponent of the Venezuelan regime. Ramos was also temporarily imprisoned by Maduro after the dictator took offense to his questions during an interview for Univisión in February. He questioned why Sanders had failed to condemn Maduro in the past and asked him to clarify in what way his embrace of socialism as a label for his personal ideology differed from the socialism that has brought Venezuelan society to a complete collapse. A very astute question.

From The Daily Caller:

“You admit that Venezuela does not have free elections, but still, you refuse to call Nicolas Maduro a dictator,” Jorge Ramos said. “Can you explain why? And what are the main differences between your kind of socialism and the one being imposed in Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua?”

“Well, first of all, let me be very clear. Anybody that does what Maduro does is a vicious tyrant,” Sanders responded.

“What we need now is international and regional cooperation for free elections in Venezuela so that the people of that country can create their own future. In terms of democratic socialism, to equate what goes on in Venezuela with what I believe is extremely unfair,” he said.

“I’ll tell you what I believe in terms of democratic socialism. I agree with what goes on in Canada and in Scandinavia, guaranteeing health care to all people as a human right. I believe that the United States should not be the only major country on Earth not to provide paid family and medical leave,” the Vermont independent continued.

“I believe that every worker in this country deserves a living wage and that we expand the trade union movement.”’

That was a convenient protestation. You say potato, I say communism (socialism is communism-lite but it’s still communism).

“You’ve got a handful of billionaires controlling what goes on in Wall Street, the insurance companies, and in the media,” he said. “Maybe what we should be doing is creating an economy that works for all us, not just one percent.”

“That’s my understanding of democratic socialism,” Sanders concluded.

Let me tell you something… Democratic Socialism is socialism. They just gave it a friendlier name. It’s still death on a cracker for constitutional freedoms.

From Breitbart:

“Under Maduro, Venezuela’s constitution refers to healthcare as a “fundamental social right, an obligation of the state [to provide], as part of the right to life.” Late dictator Hugo Chávez nationalized all hospitals in 2013, the year he died and Maduro took over. Since then, Venezuelan hospitals have suffered enormous shortages in medicine and key medical equipment. As many as 85 percent of pharmacies in Venezuela have no medicine and the country faces chronic shortages of nearly every medicine on the World Health Organization’s (WHO) list of drugs necessary to run a functional healthcare system.

“Maduro has repeatedly blocked humanitarian aid shipments from entering the country.

“In February, the same month Maduro arrested Jorge Ramos for asking about the status of political prisoners under his regime, Sanders told CNN that Venezuela still enjoyed “democratic operations,” refusing to call Maduro a dictator.

“I think it’s fair to say that the last election was undemocratic, but there are still democratic operations taking place in that country,” Sanders said during a town hall discussion.

“Carmen Yulín Cruz, a Sanders campaign co-chair and mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, refused to condemn the human rights situation in Venezuela during an interview with Jorge Ramos in July. She also attempted to distance Sanders from the “socialist” moniker, saying she did not use it herself because, “especially for Latinos,” socialism is often equated to “authoritarianism.”

“While Sanders called Maduro a “tyrant” on Thursday, Maduro has had kind words for Sanders. In 2016, Maduro condemned the United States as a dictatorship, claiming that the fact that “our revolutionary friend” Sanders did not win the Democratic primary that year was proof that “in the United States, the people do not have social rights.”’

The Castro brothers in Cuba also love Sanders and, of course, Sanders honeymooned in Russia. He also received training there. The 78-year-old socialist has also stated that communist China has “made more progress in addressing extreme poverty than any country in the history of civilization.” It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see Bolshevik Bernie’s political leanings here.

It’s entirely appropriate to compare Bernie’s socialism to Venezuela’s — they are the same flavor of communism and he knows it.

Anti-Socialist Ad With Ocasio On Fire Plays During ABC’s Dem Debate – WATCH

* By

Isn’t amazing how the left will boycott anything they don’t agree with? The constant hysterical tantrums they throw are entertaining.

Via Newsweek:

The hashtag #BoycottABC was trending on Twitter after the network aired a political advert featuring a burning photo of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez during the Democratic debate on Thursday night. Many Twitter users were outraged by the advert.

It shows the New York Democrat’s photo burning away as Elizabeth Heng, a Republican activist from California, speaks about the “face of socialism and ignorance” and her father’s experience in Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge.

“Does Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez know the horror of socialism? My father was minutes from death in Cambodia before a forced marriage saved his life. That’s socialism: Forced obedience, starvation,” Heng says, showing images of life under the communist regime.

“Mine is a face of freedom. My skin is not white, I’m not outrageous, racist, nor socialist. I’m a Republican.”

The advert was paid for by Heng’s PAC, New Faces GOP, which promises to fight against “extreme, socialist Democrats” and to “elevate the next generation of Republicans so that we can not only survive as a party, but expand beyond the boundaries we’ve set for ourselves.”

Ocasio-Cortez, a self-described democratic socialist, hit back on Twitter after the ad ran. “Republicans are running TV ads setting pictures of me on fire to convince people they aren’t racist. Life is weird!” she tweeted.

“Know that this wasn’t an ad for young conservatives of color – that was the pretense. What you just watched was a love letter to the GOP’s white supremacist case.”

Heng responded: “Not Republicans. Me. Are you really calling me a racist @aoc? I’m calling all Democrats out for supporting an evil ideology. Or are you just in Congress to hang out with celebrities and tweet out ridiculous ideas like the green new deal?”

Addressing the network’s Twitter account, the writer Jack Wallen tweeted: “You really screwed the pooch on this one. That ad was violent, disgusting, and nothing but right-wing propaganda. Just because some politician paid you to air an ad, doesn’t mean you should kick your morals to the curb for a payoff. #BoycottABC is the result.”

Ocasio & libs were none-too-happy about the commercial.

Cry me a river!
