White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been one of the strongest female leaders I have ever seen. But even Sanders has her breaking point and struggles to cope with horrible personal attacks from the left. They are taking a big toll on her and I’m not surprised. The pressure would crush most of us.
Sanders says this is how she copes with her workload: “Lots of coffee and a little wine in the evening.” I believe that. She also has children and a family to see to. Talk about a pressure cooker. “That’ll probably also get me in trouble, I’m sure in some way, particularly given my dad was a Southern Baptist minister,” Sanders stated during a panel at Politico’s “Women Rule” 2018 summit. Her father is former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R). Both firmly believe in and support President Trump.
Great week in DC #TakingDownGoliath. When @facebook destroys your biz right after paying them nearly $500K in ads and then ignores you, you don't go away…you go to the top. #corrupt #KAG #MAGA2020 #Facebook #winning pic.twitter.com/YvNDAvmZAN

Sanders revealed a little about raising her kids during that panel as well. “Do you talk about politics with your kids?” Politico’s Eliana Johnson asked her. Sanders’s three children are 6, 5, and 3-years-old. “I do,” Sanders said. “And to much of my sadness, my kids are very unimpressed by most of what I do. I think they think everyone’s parents are on TV because they grew up with my dad being on TV pretty regularly, and now I am and I think they think that’s just what people do,” she said. “They would much prefer to watch anything animated,” Sanders added. Sounds like typical, normal children.
From The Hill:
Sanders also said she tries not to focus on criticisms surrounding her appearance.
“No matter how good or how bad you look, or how great or how bad you say something, you’re always going to have people that disagree with you no matter what you do,” she said.
When Johnson pressed Sanders over some of President Trump’s insults aimed at female reporters, Sanders pushed back, saying the president has had an “equal number of contentious conversations with your male colleagues.”
Trump drew scrutiny last month when he insulted three black women reporters in the span of one week.
Sanders said she believes it would be a “disservice to every woman in the country” if anyone believed that a woman cannot “have it all.”
Sanders is an attractive woman. It used to be the left saying you could not go after looks. But that is all they’ve done to Sanders. She’s a mom and pretty in her own right. She’s also pretty on the inside which is more than can be said for the left.
Race and gender had nothing to do with Trump’s going after those reporters. They simply use that to protect their inadequacy. President Trump is constantly bashed over the race and gender issues, especially among dishonest reporters. No wonder he canceled the White House Press Christmas Party. Sanders handled questions on this perfectly in my estimation. If you are going to play in the big leagues, be prepared to get nailed when you screw up no matter your race or gender and that’s the way it should be.
