Rep Crenshaw BLASTS Dems On Wall Negotiations – ‘Dysfunction And Dishonesty’ – WATCH

On Monday, Republican Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw slammed the Democrats for not being honest about their position on constructing a border wall.

“What I’ve seen first hand is the dysfunction and dishonesty of the debate itself,” Crenshaw said to Dana Perino on ‘The Daily Briefing.’ “For the last few weeks what we’ve seen is the constant rhetoric from the Democrats which say ‘we will negotiate this as long as the government’s open.’”

The Texas congressman praised President Trump for calling Democrats’ bluff by temporarily re-opening the government and forcing lawmakers to follow through and engage in good faith negotiations.

“Walls work. They work as a mitigating factor from someone moving from point A to point B. They work as a funneling option as well so that we can move resources to where we need,” Crenshaw said. “These things work, this is common sense, we all used to agree on it until it got political.”

“It’s become a very polarizing political issue instead of a policy issue and everybody’s become an expert on border security,” he continued. “The reality is that this plan came from the Department of Homeland Security, this didn’t come from the President Trump campaign, this came from experts.”

The former Navy SEAL noted that part of the problem with public perception of a border wall can be seen among the polling. Referring to a Monmouth University poll, which said 52 percent of adults believe a border wall is not too important or not at all important, he stated that there’s a misconception about what the wall will actually cover. “That typical argument we hear from Democrats that it doesn’t make sense, it’s too expensive, it’s medieval — well, I’d like to hear some reasoning behind that,” Crenshaw continued. “It’s not too expensive, it’s 0.1 percent of our entire federal budget … so it’s really not about the money for them.”

“I think those polls reflect this misconception amongst the public that we’re talking about a 2,000 mile wall,” Crenshaw said. “I think when pollsters ask those questions, and I’ve seen how they ask those questions, it’s not very clear what they’re asking.”

“I have talked to so many Democrats. When I show them the plan that their leadership doesn’t show them, by the way, they look at that and they say ‘I’m not really against this … I just can’t agree with you guys while we’re in the midst of a shutdown,’” Crenshaw continued. “Now we’re not in a shutdown and I’d like those same Democrats to come back and say ‘you know what, I’m for that.’ There’s no reason not to, it’s 0.1 percent of the entire federal budget. This isn’t about the money.”

Gotta love when Millionaire communists lecture you on what you can and can’t do. Good thing he will never be elected President!

Via The Daily Caller:

2020 candidate and self-described democratic socialist Bernie Sanders said that the United States has to stop using gasoline and coal, and that “there ain’t no middle ground” on the issue.

“It is no secret that we must transition away from fossil fuels, period. End of discussion. There ain’t no middle ground…There is no middle ground,” Sanders said during a speech Thursday in California.

The Independent Vermont senator released a climate plan Thursday modeled after the “Green New Deal” that called for $16 trillion in new spending to fight climate change.

A key part of the plan is “Justice for frontline communities,” which refers to “under-resourced groups, communities of color, Native Americans, people with disabilities, children and the elderly – to recover from, and prepare for, the climate impacts, including through a $40 billion Climate Justice Resiliency Fund.”

Sanders’ plan, which is modeled as a “Green New Deal,” also targets “environmental racism.”

“The Green New Deal must serve to address modern and historical inequities and environmental racism,” it reads.

Sanders has sought to separate himself from the field of other 2020 Democratic contenders by proposing far-left plans on a variety of issues.

On health care, Sanders supports a “Medicare for All” style plan which would eliminate private health insurance plans and give free health care to illegal immigrants. Continue Reading

Bernie Sanders Says His $16-Trillion Green New Deal-Like Plan Will Create 20 Million Jobs

Via Daily Caller:

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders introduced a $16.3-trillion plan similar to the Green New Deal on Thursday, which he says will create 20 million jobs.

The plan aims to make 100% of energy for U.S. electricity and transportation renewable by 2030 and have “complete decarbonization” by 2050, according to its outline.

“As President, Bernie Sanders will boldly embrace the moral imperative of climate change and mobilize the political will necessary for a wholesale transformation of our society, with massive investments in sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and a transformation of our transportation system,” his plan reads. Dem Rep Says We Need Illegal Immigrants To Mow ‘Our Beautiful Lawns’ – WATCH

That is some serious white supremacy right there. The Democrats racist colors always show. They can’t hide that for long…and they sure make it clear on how they love slaves.

It isn’t conservatives that are racist…it’s the Democrat party!

Via The Daily Wire:

Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-NJ) explained to his constituents earlier in the week that illegal immigrants are necessary members of New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District because they are willing to take on the jobs that the community’s teenagers will no longer do.

“We have to think about the jobs because the reason this happens is because there are a lot of jobs in our community that, like it or not, for better or worse, Americans are not willing to take,” Malinowski told the crowd while appearing at a town hall meeting.

“I mean, who do you think is taking care of our seniors? Fifty percent of the eldercare workers in the state of New Jersey are immigrants, most of them legal — most of them documented — but certainly some of them are not,” he continued. “Who do you think is mowing our beautiful lawns in Somerset County? We don’t usually ask but a lot of those workers are undocumented.”

Watch:

Malinowski contended that the illegal immigrants residing in the area are able to fill the gap as teenagers who historically have been working menial jobs are now focused more on a white collar education in the technology sector.

“There just aren’t a lot of kids who — sorry — are from Montgomery High [School], who are going to be doing that full time,” the Democratic lawmaker said. “You guys are going into robotics, for goodness sake.”

Malinowski’s controversial comments come as he prepares to seek a second term in the congressional swing district. The freshman congressman, who previously served as the Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor under former President Barack Obama, successfully flipped his red district blue during the 2018 midterm elections after he edged out longtime incumbent Rep. Leonard Lance (R-NJ).

Four of New Jersey’s twelve House districts were won by Democrats after decades of being reliably red, including Malinowski’s newly acquired seat. Continue Reading
