Those who know me, know that I am no fan of the current Pope, Red Francis. I really believe he is an adherent of Marxist Liberation Theology. He is once again speaking out against President Trump and border security. Frankly, it’s none of the Pope’s business and his mandate seems hypocritical to me.
“Builders of walls, be they made of razor wire or bricks, will end up becoming prisoners of the walls they build,” Pope Francis told reporters aboard the papal plane, according to CNN. “This is history.”
Nice talk coming from a Pope who has walls surrounding the Vatican. If he’s so opposed to them, why are they still standing? Is the Pope a prisoner? Were his predecessors? Walls don’t surround the entire city but a good part of it.
In 2016, shortly after Pope Francis called Donald Trump’s plan to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border “not Christian,” Trump’s campaign was ready with a response: “Isn’t Vatican City, the Catholic Church’s 110-acre sovereign state, surrounded by walls?” ”
Amazing comments from the Pope — considering Vatican City is 100% surrounded by massive walls,” tweeted Dan Scavino, the Trump campaign’s director of social media and a senior adviser at the time.
President Trump was not impressed by the Pope’s double-standard here and his criticism of him and his faith: “No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith,” Trump said, calling the Pope’s remarks “disgraceful.” I agreed then and still do. That was out of line even for the Pope.

Pope Francis says he wept after a Spanish journalist showed a piece of concertina wire from Spain’s North African enclave of Ceuta, which borders Morocco. “I realize that with this problem (of migration), a government has a hot potato in its hands, but it must be resolved differently, humanely, not with razor wire,” he stated.
One wonders if the Pope weeps for those killed by these migrants. Does he shed a tear for the women raped and subjugated as well? Because if he does, I have never heard him speak of it.
And here comes the Marxism… from The Daily Wire:
“According to CNBC, the pope’s statements echoed those he made to Moroccan leaders on Sunday, when he said that only social justice will correct the world’s economic imbalances. “With fear, we will not move forward; with walls, we will remain closed within these walls,” he said.
“This marks the second time this year that Pope Francis has emphatically denounced walls for use of border security — a running theme throughout his pontificate. When returning from a trip to Panama in January, he said that fear of migrants is making people crazy.
“It is the fear that makes us crazy,” Pope Francis said after reportedly calling a border wall a “folly.”
“Pope Francis has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump’s stance on immigration since he first announced his candidacy. During the 2016 presidential campaign, Francis famously showed more hostility to the candidate promising a pro-life/pro-religious agenda than he did to the pro-abortion Hillary Clinton. At one point, the pope suggested that President Trump is not even a real Christian due to his desiring the building of border walls.
“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not in the Gospel,” said Pope Francis of President Trump’s policies.
“In November 2018, as the migrant caravan from Honduras made its way toward the U.S. southern border just in time for the midterm elections, Pope Francis showed support for migrants and even expressed appreciation for their need to “pile up.”
“Another phenomenon of migrants – let’s think of the caravan that goes from Honduras to the United States – is to pile up. The migrant usually tries to go in groups. Sometimes it has to go alone, but it is normal to pile up, because we feel stronger in migration. And there is the community. In football there is the possibility of a ‘free agent,’ that can move according to the opportunities, but from you there is no possibility, the ‘free agent’ from you fail. Always the community. Always in the community, because your vocation is precisely for migrants who pile up. Feel migrants. Feel, yes, migrants facing needs, migrants before the Lord, migrants among you. And for this the need to pile up.
“In the same speech, Pope Francis focused on how nations need to foster the virtue of welcoming strangers or risk their own demise.
“It’s easier to welcome a stranger than to be welcomed, and you have to do both,” said Pope Francis. “You must teach, help welcome the stranger, and give all the possibilities to the nations that have everything or enough to use these four words that you have said. How to welcome a foreigner.”‘
I am all for helping those in need and for legal immigration. But if they come here illegally and break our laws, they should not be allowed in. Christian charity does not include a suicide clause.
“This shared commitment is needed in order to avoid presenting new opportunities to those merchants of the human flesh who exploit the dreams and needs of migrants,” he told a gathering at the Catholic-run Caritas charity in Morroco. How about exploiting those who are victims of these ‘beloved’ migrants? Does the Pope center his heart around those murdered by drug dealers, illegal immigrants, terrorists, gang bangers, and those that peddle evil because our borders are not secure? Where is your love for those people? Your humanity? Or do you only care for the politically afflicted? Just wondering.
Perhaps the church would be more well-served if the Christian faith was equal for all under Pope Francis and if he left Marxism out of his religious teachings. After all, preachers of Marxism, in the end, become prisoners of communism.

Christian students around globe to gather, give atheist HUGE finger
Christian students around the world are participating in the faith-based annual “See You at the Pole” prayer rally Wednesday morning.
The movement that began in 1990 by a group of Texas students – and has been student-led ever since – has grown to an annual event that draws one million students across America and in more than 64 countries.
For King & Country singers Joel and Luke Smallbone promoted the prayer event in a video.

“This has always been something that has been close to me and my heart because I’ve been able to see the power of prayer and to be able to see when school students get together and surround that flag and be able to pray together, something real significant takes place,” Luke Smallbone said, adding that he participated as a kid.
Many students plan their meeting at the flag pole at 7 a.m. and circle up, holding hands in prayer. Some gatherings include worship, Bible reading, and sharing, but all focus on one thing: prayer.
“It’s not about making a statement,” this year’s promotion video says. “It’s about prayer.”
The theme for the event is a Bible verse from 2 Chronicles 7:14, according to CBN News: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
SYATP officials advise students, “You can legally gather for prayer before school, but it’s best to let the administration know ahead of time.”
The event is the highlight for the Global Week of Student Prayer Sept. 22-28.

Politician Under ‘Hate Crime Investigation’ For Sharing Bible Verse
Times are getting scary, folks.
Via Fox News:
Police are investigating a Christian politician in Finland for an alleged “hate crime” because she shared a Bible verse on Facebook to criticize a national church that participated in LGBT Pride festivities.
In the post, congresswoman Päivi Räsänen, a Christian Democrat, criticized the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland for participating in the Helsinki LGBT Pride events in June. Her criticism was alongside a picture of Romans 1:24-27 that describes same-sex relationships as “shameful.”
Her post made Räsänen the subject of a pretrial investigation by the Finnish Police for a suspected incitement against sexual and gender minorities.
“The pre-trial investigations have not yet been completed. Police will provide more details once the investigations have been completed or presented to a prosecutor for consideration of charges,” the Helsinki Police Department officer in charge of the investigation told the Helsinki Times.

Räsänen, who is a member of and is married to a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland (ELCF), came under fire for her June Facebook post: “How can the church’s doctrinal foundation, the Bible, be compatible with the lifting up of shame and sin as a subject of pride? #LGBT #HelsinkiPride2019.”
Kirkko, jonka jäsen olen, on ilmoittanut olevansa SETA:n Helsinki Pride 2019 virallinen kumppani. Miten kirkon…
The vast majority, 69 percent, of Finns are members of the ELCF, which has had a steady decline over the last few years, according to Evangelical Focus.
In mid-August, the Finnish politician tweeted: “I am not concerned on my part, as I trust this will not move on to the prosecutor. However, I am concerned if quoting the Bible is considered even ‘slightly’ illegal. I hope this won’t lead to self-censorship among Christians. Rom. 1:24–27.”
Räsänen’s minority party holds five seats in the 200-seat Finnish Parliament. She is known for her defense of traditional Christian views on abortion and marriage, but after being called “homophobic,” the politician tweeted: “It is not right to label Christian conviction as phobia.”
She is one of three politicians in the nation under pretrial investigation right now, joining Social Democrat Hussein Al-Taee and Finns Party Juha Mäenpää, who are suspected of incitement due to racist comments.
