Newly Elected Muslim Congresswoman Shows True Colors – Attacks Christian Faith

Published

on

(Chicks On The Right) Ilhan Omar, the newly elected Muslim congresswoman from Minnesota, is VERY proud and protective of her faith.

She advocated for the 181-year-old House dress code to be changed so that she could wear her hijab in the chamber. She took a ceremonial Oath of Office on a school-bus-sized Quran.

Seriously. That thing is enormous.

And I respect her Constitutional right to do both. As I wrote then:

I’m not a fan of Ilhan Omar’s, but I am a staunch supporter of religious freedom. I’m not the kind of hypocrite who supports the rights of Christians not to have their religion infringed upon, and will not do the same for others. It’s Omar’s constitutionally-protected RIGHT to wear her hijab. She was elected by her constituents to represent them. She should not have to choose between upholding her religious dress code and that of her congressional position.

I, for one, stand by Freedom of religion and respect that others may have different religions than I do, regardless of whether or not I agree with their faith.

Congresswoman-Elect Omar does not afford others the same respect.

In fact, she’s ALREADY mocking our Vice President’s Christian faith.

Wow. So it’s going to be like this, huh? You’re burning some pretty large bridges, darlin’.
