New Muslim Congresswoman Saves Sickening Surprise For When She’s Sworn In

I wish I could say I’m surprised by this, but I’m not. Newly elected Representative Rashida Tlaib of Michigan is now going to be sworn into office wearing a… wait for it… traditional Palestinian garment. She put that out on Instagram. Proudly I might add. “Sneak peek: This is what I am wearing when I am sworn into Congress,” she chirped. Bonus… she included the hashtags #PalestinianThobe and #ForMyYama, CNN reported. Anti-Israel all the way.

CNN simply gushed over the development:

Palestinian women traditionally wear hand-embroidered gowns. Each gown’s embroidery is unique and represents the city that its wearer is from. For Palestinians, it is considered a way of showing pride in one’s heritage.

Tlaib is the daughter of Palestinian immigrants from Beit Our al-Foqa, a village in the West Bank near Ramallah.

Tlaib will be filling the seat that Democratic Rep. John Conyers held. He left office in disgrace and then his district that had seen its demographic massively morph due to Islamic refugees and immigrants being planted there elected a Muslim to take his place. She ran unopposed as well after her August primary win in Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.

She held a party after her win and draped herself in a Palestinian flag. Her mother rang out in ululation… a grating, high-pitched vocal sound many Middle Eastern women make in celebration. It looked more like a celebration from Iraq than Michigan. How times have changed since 9-11. Tlaib calls herself a progressive… in reality, she is an Islamic communist – something that should not exist, but does these days. As well as hating Israel and Jews in general, Tlaib despises President Trump. She was arrested two years ago for disrupting a Trump speech in Detroit.

Tlaib is the second US lawmaker to now support the BDS movement (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) for Palestinian rights. “I personally support the BDS movement,” Tlaib said in an interview with The Intercept news website. “I want us to see that segregation and how that has really harmed us being able to achieve real peace in that region,” said Tlaib.

She plans on skipping a trip to Israel organised by the American Israel Political Action Committee (AIPAC) for new US lawmakers. Tlaib saved a sickening surprise for after her swearing in. Instead, she’ll lead a Congressional delegation to the occupied West Bank instead. “If our country is sincere about being an honest broker to peace than my sity [grandmother] deserves to be seen and heard just like any other human being. She deserves human dignity. Let’s try a different approach, shall we,” Tlaib tweeted. The delegation will focus on Israel’s alleged detention of Palestinian children, clean water and poverty. Just disgraceful.

This is what our politics is devolving into. Michigan used to be a conservative state. Now, it might as well be part of the Middle East.
