Michelle Obama Slams Trump, Refers to Her Family as “Moral Compass” During Their Time in the White House

On Friday evening, former First Lady Michelle Obama made an appearance on  in order to promote her new book, “Becoming.” Her new book is currently on the bestseller list, however Americans are taking notice of the way she slammed President Donald Trump’s morals. This could lead to backlash against Mrs. Obama and her book.

Michelle went on to complain that she had to be “perfect” during her time as First Lady. She spoke about how relieved she was when her family was leaving the White House.

The former First Lady of The United States appeared on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” to promote her new book the “Becoming”, which is currently on the list of best selling books. However, Americans took notice of the very distasteful attack on President Trump’s morals. This has lead to major backlash against the former first lady and her book.

The Daily Caller reports:

“We knew that we were the moral compass. So we had to speak carefully and clearly and intelligently and we couldn’t just say things off the cuff,” Obama stated.

Colbert followed up by asking, “As people who took that moral position seriously, and it is a serious position, how does it feel to see the next occupant, at least of the Oval Office—I can’t speak to anyone else’s in his family—who seems indifferent to that responsibility?”

Mrs. Obama answered, “The question that we have to ask ourselves is how does the country feel about it? Because I don’t think it matters how I felt about it. I’ve felt torn about it from the day I watched it happen. But now the country has to ask itself, what do we want? What is the bar that we’re setting for ourselves? It’s up to the voters now to figure out what kind of moral leadership do we demand in the White House, regardless of party, regardless of race, regardless of gender, regardless of wherever you are. What do we want our president to look like?”

“How do we want them to act? And if we vote for one set of behavior, then that’s obviously what we want until we vote differently,” Michelle Obama finished off.

If this is where she’s going, let’s get the list going on how many times the Obama White House failed Americans with “morals”

Does lying to the entire nation count? Do you remember the fib of the century? If You like your healthcare provider you can keep your healthcare provider…. NUFF SAID!

Diamond and Silk pose some important questions:

Which President was it who lied to Americans that they could “keep the plan” and “keep their doctor,” destroying health insurance, plans and the connections people had with their doctors in one fell swoop? Was the Obama architect kidding when he basically confessed that Americans were deliberately kept in the dark because otherwise they never would have gone for it? Was that “just saying things off the cuff?”

Which President said he couldn’t constitutionally do DACA for illegal aliens brought here as children but then did it anyway?

What President didn’t tell the truth to the American people about Benghazi claiming Americans were killed because of an internet video?

Why is it that the Obama’s feel that they need to continue attack Trump? Is it because the only way they stay relevant and get media attention is when they “go low” and attack Trump? Think about it?  They are attention loving people…

Gotta love when Millionaire communists lecture you on what you can and can’t do. Good thing he will never be elected President!

Via The Daily Caller:

2020 candidate and self-described democratic socialist Bernie Sanders said that the United States has to stop using gasoline and coal, and that “there ain’t no middle ground” on the issue.

“It is no secret that we must transition away from fossil fuels, period. End of discussion. There ain’t no middle ground…There is no middle ground,” Sanders said during a speech Thursday in California.

The Independent Vermont senator released a climate plan Thursday modeled after the “Green New Deal” that called for $16 trillion in new spending to fight climate change.

A key part of the plan is “Justice for frontline communities,” which refers to “under-resourced groups, communities of color, Native Americans, people with disabilities, children and the elderly – to recover from, and prepare for, the climate impacts, including through a $40 billion Climate Justice Resiliency Fund.”

Sanders’ plan, which is modeled as a “Green New Deal,” also targets “environmental racism.”

“The Green New Deal must serve to address modern and historical inequities and environmental racism,” it reads.

Sanders has sought to separate himself from the field of other 2020 Democratic contenders by proposing far-left plans on a variety of issues.

On health care, Sanders supports a “Medicare for All” style plan which would eliminate private health insurance plans and give free health care to illegal immigrants. Continue Reading

Bernie Sanders Says His $16-Trillion Green New Deal-Like Plan Will Create 20 Million Jobs

Via Daily Caller:

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders introduced a $16.3-trillion plan similar to the Green New Deal on Thursday, which he says will create 20 million jobs.

The plan aims to make 100% of energy for U.S. electricity and transportation renewable by 2030 and have “complete decarbonization” by 2050, according to its outline.

“As President, Bernie Sanders will boldly embrace the moral imperative of climate change and mobilize the political will necessary for a wholesale transformation of our society, with massive investments in sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and a transformation of our transportation system,” his plan reads.
