‘I’ll Represent The Kids For Free’: MAGA Hat Kids Get Offer To SUE Mainstream Media

The leftist media is truly disgusting and despicable.

Last weekend, the mainstream media pushed two stories that ended up being widely disputed. Just days after BuzzFeed published another sham anti-Trump story, the leftist media was forced to walk back defamatory claims that a MAGA hat-wearing teen had harassed a Native American during a pro-life march in Washington. The left takes things to a new low.

The media immediately ran with the false story that Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann ― had harassed and made racist slurs at left-wing activist Nathan Phillips. The narrative was promoted using doctored, edited video tape with the audio silenced.

When the full unedited video surfaced, the truth emerged: The Native American activist had approached Nick Sandmann and his school mates ― not the other way around. And the teen never said anything racist; in fact, he said nothing at all while Nathan Phillips loudly banged his drums inches from Nick’s face.

Once the truth was shown, some in the mainstream walked back their original, disgusting report.

MSNBC host Peter Alexander said: “Reminder to all of us we got to wait for answers before we come to final conclusions on these type of topics.”

The truth started to emerge when the left could no longer ignore it, since the unedited, full video of the incident was being mass-circulated on social media― for everyone to see.

Robby Soave of the website Reason wrote:

“The media wildly mischaracterized that video of Covington Catholic Students confronting a Native American veteran. Journalists who uncritically accepted Nathan Phillips’ story got this completely wrong. Various media figures and Twitter users called for them to be doxxed, shamed, or otherwise punished, and school administrators said they would consider expulsion.

But the rest of the video—nearly two hours of additional footage showing what happened before and after the encounter—adds important context that strongly contradicts the media’s narrative.

Far from engaging in racially motivated harassment, the group of mostly white, MAGA-hat-wearing male teenagers remained relatively calm and restrained despite being subjected to incessant racist, homophobic, and bigoted verbal abuse by members of the bizarre religious sect Black Hebrew Israelites, who were lurking nearby. The BHI has existed since the late 19th century, and is best describes as a black nationalist cult movement; its members believe they are descendants of the ancient Israelites, and often express condemnation of white people, Christians, and gays.

Phillips put himself between the teens and the black nationalists, chanting and drumming as he marched straight into the middle of the group of young people. What followed was several minutes of confusion: The teens couldn’t quite decide whether Phillips was on their side or not, but tentatively joined in his chanting. It’s not at all clear this was intended as an act of mockery rather than solidarity.” continue reading

Litigator Robert Barnes offered to represent Sandmann and other students at Covington Catholic High School should they decide to sue the New York Times, CNN, and other lying media for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Perhaps as a warning, Barnes retweeted Communications Director for U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, Matt Wolking’s tweet about CNN’s Bakari Sellers saying Sandmann could be punched in the face.

Others responded on Twitter:

Time we start disciplining the leftist media for these disgusting fake news stories they put out. They try and destroy peoples lives and see no problem in doing so. They will try and destroy you any way they can. These people need to be held accountable for their actions.
