Legal Immigrant Wearing MAGA Hat Brutally Assaulted By Two Men Near D.C.

The violence against Trump supporters is on-going. Even against legal immigrants. On Saturday, two men allegedly attacked a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat in Germantown, Maryland, roughly 30 miles from Washington, D.C. Atsu Nable, the victim, says that two men came up to him and indicated they didn’t like his hat. They ordered him to take it off. One of them hit Nable from behind.

“They were asking me, ‘Hey bro, why did you put that hat on?’ And I didn’t say anything, I just passed by.” Nable recalled, “I was like, ‘Why are you doing that? You know? We don’t have to do this.’” Nable said they answered, “No, no, no, no, that hat is not any good.” He continued, “…and then they started punching me on my head.” Will you see this on the liberal networks? Not a chance, especially since the victim is black AND a Trump supporter.

From The Daily Wire:

“Nable told Fox 5 that he informed them that he was free to have his own perspective and attempted to walk away but they kept striking him until he fell. He said they smashed his headphones; he claimed he tried to retrieve his cell phone and photograph them as they fled, prompting them to return and try to grab his cell phone, but he successfully fought them off.

“Fox 5 reported, “Witnesses called 911 and Montgomery County police say officers canvassing the area found the two suspects at a nearby basketball court attempting to hide among the children playing.” The suspects, Scott Roberson, 25, and Jovan Crawford, 27, have been charged with robbery and second-degree assault.

“Nable, who is an American citizen, said he legally emigrated from Togo in West Africa in 2007 and has been a fan of the Republican Party and President Trump since Trump started his candidacy. He said he went to Trump’s campaign events and volunteered to help when Trump was inaugurated.

“There have been other recent incidents where people wearing MAGA hats have been attacked; in Late February, an 18-year-old Oklahoma high school student who encountered another student wearing a MAGA hat and a Trump 2020 flag like a cape, blocked the other student from passing him, and snapped, “Take it off or I’ll rip it off … do you want me to rip it off?” and “You going to rip it off or am I going to burn it?” before knocking off the hat and ripping the flag away so he could throw it on the ground.

“In mid-February, a woman at the Casa Vallarta Mexican restaurant near Falmouth, Massachusetts, allegedly assaulted a young man wearing a MAGA hat and got herself arrested; it turned out that she was in the United States illegally. Also in mid-February, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, a man from Tennessee allegedly pulled a gun on a man wearing a Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat, stuck the gun in the MAGA-hat-wearing man’s face and reportedly threatened, “It’s a good day for you to die.”

“Last November, a female Harvard University graduate student who had a MAGA hat and legally-owned guns in her room was asked by her apartment owner to move out after her roommates reportedly searched through her room and found the guns.”

Fearing serious injury, Nable fought back. He is a married accountant with no children. Meanwhile, an eyewitness called 911 to report the two-on-one assault. “I was falling back onto the ground,” Nable said. “They were punching me on my head. Suddenly I thank God for that bystander that came by and called the police.” Thank God indeed because they could have beaten him to death.

From WJLA:

“Nable told ABC7 he immigrated to the U.S. from the West African nation of Togo in 2007. He went on to become an American citizen on Valentine’s Day 2013. The native French speaker learned the English language after arriving in the U.S.

“A longtime political independent, Nable says Trump’s presidential campaign led him to register as a Republican.

“He cares about the middle man,” Nable said of Trump. “He is all about the nation. What’s wrong with that?”

“In an incredibly crowded 2016 Republican primary, Nable says he voted for Trump from the get-go. In fact, only a few days before Trump beat Hillary Clinton, Nable attended a rally in Loudoun County, Virginia, where he proudly wore his MAGA hat and purchased a blue Trump flag.

“I like everything that he does. Like, I came here legally,” Nable said. “Why can’t all people come here legally then? I went through the right process, the proper channels and I’m here, so why can’t they do the same thing?”

“According to Nable, his MAGA hat wearing ways have caused people to curse at him, plus issue the middle finger, but until now, no one had resorted to physical violence.”

Authorities have charged Crawford and Roberson – the two goons who beat Nable – with robbery, second-degree assault, attempted theft and destruction of property. They each face more than 20 years in prison.

No one should be attacked for what they wear. If you don’t like it, walk away. More and more you hear that those who dare wear a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat are harassed, accosted, and violently roughed up. It’s been going on since the Tea Party came into being and really kicked into gear when President Trump was elected.

Nable will continue to wear his MAGA hat proudly. He is a devout Catholic and has forgiven his attackers. They don’t deserve that.

“They felt like a black man should not be wearing a Trump hat because it’s like when you are black, you have to be a Democrat,” said Nable, who has a laceration of his nose and lingering pain in his jaw. “I’ll wear it again. The movement is still going on, Trump is still in power and in 2020 we will win again.”

Good for him. That’s real courage and that is someone who knows about immigration and what President Trump has done for Americans. The color of his skin does not dictate what he knows to be right.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Report:

ROCKFORD, Ill. — An Illinois man was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury on several counts of illegally bringing aliens to the U.S., transporting them and harboring them for his personal financial gain.

This indictment was announced by U.S. Attorney John R. Lausch Jr., Northern District of Illinois, and Special Agent in Charge James M. Gibbons, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). The DeKalb (Illinois) Police Department assisted in this investigation.

Luis Alfredo Delacruz, 49, from DeKalb, Illinois, was indicted on the following charges:

two counts of bringing aliens into the United States at a place other than a designated port of entry for commercial advantage or private financial gain;
two counts of bringing aliens into the U.S. at a place other than a designated port of entry;
two counts of transporting illegal aliens within the U.S. for commercial advantage or private financial gain; and,
eight counts of harboring illegal aliens for commercial advantage or private financial gain.
As alleged in the indictment, in November 2015 and April 2016, Delacruz brought into the United States two aliens who had not received prior official authorization to enter. Delacruz did not bring them through immigration at a designated port of entry, the indictment states.

It is further alleged that on June 1, 2018, Delacruz illegally harbored eight illegal aliens in buildings or other places through employment at Alfredo’s Iron Works in Cortland. Delacruz allegedly harbored these aliens for commercial advantage and his own financial gain.

Each count of bringing aliens into the United States at a place other than a designated port of entry for commercial advantage or private financial gain carries a mandatory minimum sentence of three years in prison and a maximum of 10 years.

Each count of bringing aliens to the U.S. at a place other than a designated port of entry carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

Each count of transporting illegal aliens within the U.S. for commercial advantage or private financial gain, and each count of harboring illegal aliens for commercial advantage or private financial gain, carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

Each count in the indictment also carries a maximum fine of $250,000, and a period of supervised release following imprisonment of up to three years.

If convicted, the Court must impose a reasonable sentence under federal sentencing statutes and the advisory U.S. Sentencing Guidelines.

The public is reminded that an indictment contains only charges and is not evidence of guilt. The defendant is presumed innocent and entitled to a fair trial at which the government has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Delacruz is scheduled to appear for arraignment on April 23 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Iain D. Johnston in Rockford, Illinois.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph C. Pedersen, Northern District of Illinois, prosecuted this case.

Illegal Immigrant With Criminal History Wanted For Killing Tennessee Woman

Another scary reminder of why we need to close our border!

Knox News Reports:

“Federal immigration agents have joined the search for the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run that left a Knoxville woman dead last week.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency is assisting in the search for 54-year-old illegal alien Juan Francisco, ICE spokesman Bryan Cox confirmed Tuesday.

Knoxville police have identified Francisco as the suspect who struck and killed Debbie Burgess, 52, as she walked along Pleasant Ridge Road near the Custom Foods of America plant June 8.

Authorities have active arrest warrants for Francisco on charges of vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident.

The suspect’s local criminal history includes a DUI conviction in 2017.

He also was convicted of theft in 2002 for forging another man’s name on a Tennessee driver’s license and Social Security card while working a local landscaping company, according to an arrest warrant. The warrant identifies Francisco as an undocumented immigrant.

Cox said Wednesday that Francisco’s immigration status has not changed in the years since.

In 2004, Francisco was charged with driving without a valid license. That arrest warrant notes he had a Guatemala driver’s license at the time, but no permit to drive in the U.S. The violation was retired in 2010.

Anyone with information on Francisco’s whereabouts is asked to call the Knoxville Police Department’s crime hotline at 865-215-7212.

Big League Politics has more on this story:

An illegal alien living in Tennessee is wanted by local and federal authorities after he allegedly struck and killed a woman with his vehicle last week, killing her.

“The Knoxville Police Department is searching for a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run on April 8, 2019,” according to WVLT. “KPD said it is searching for Juan Francisco, who authorities said was driving a 1998 Dodge pickup truck in the vicinity of Custom Foods at 3600 Pleasant Ridge Road when he struck the victim, Debbie Burgess, with his vehicle.”

Burgess died at the hospital after the incident.

Francisco has a long history of arrests, and authorities have known that he was here illegally since 2002, when he was charged with theft. In 2004, he was charged with reckless driving, and in 2017, he was charged with DUI. It is unclear whether her was ever deported from the United States, despite his lengthy rap sheet.
