“The View” host Joy Behar attracted the wrath of co-host Meghan McCain on Monday when she attempted to use former President George H.W. Bush’s death to attack current President Donald Trump.
The panel of “The View” women were eulogizing Bush, who passed away late Friday night, when Behar compared his policies and views on climate change to those of Trump.
“I want to say one thing about him that was not picked up really because as a candidate he said, ‘those who think we’re powerless to do anything about the greenhouse effect are thinking about the White House effect,’” Behar said. “This president that we have now is going to unravel everything that he did and Obama did, and if I ever become a one-issue voter, it will be about pollution.”
“Can we focus on the president, please?” McCain interrupted. “I just, I don’t want to talk about Trump when we’re in a moment — when we’re honoring a great president.”
Behar refused to be cut off by McCain, replying angrily, “Excuse me! Excuse me, please!”
“Okay, but we’re honoring — I’m not interested in your one-issue voter talk,” McCain shot back.
The spat quickly turned nasty as the pair told each other they don’t care what the other has to say.
“I don’t care what you’re interested in, I’m talking!” Behar asserted.
“Well I don’t care what you’re interested in either,” McCain said aggressively.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg cut the tension by quickly announcing a commercial break.
According to Daily Mail, after, off air but still in front of the studio audience, Behar blew up:
Behar threw her hands in the air, yelled ‘My God!’ and ‘Get this b***h under control.’
‘If this s**t doesn’t stop I’m quitting this damn show. I can’t take this much more,’ Behar allegedly fumed.
Producers ran to the stage in an attempt to de-escalate the situation, but Behar continued to rant, the source said.
‘I’ve tolerated a lot of s**t on this show but I’m at my wits’ end with this entitled b***h. Enough already! Enough already! I’m not playing nice any longer,’ Behar shouted, despite the studio audience being able to hear it all.
“Here’s what I think. I want to say one thing about it. He’s the only president who has his own TV channel in history. Nixon didn’t have it. So, he has Fox News, and Fox will just back him up,” Behar stated, according to the Daily Caller.
“I would be careful about that though,” co-host Abby Huntsman warned.
“Let me finish the thought,” Behar insisted. “His failure as a president means their failure as a station. They have everything invested in propping him up and backing his lies. So that is a very, very unusual position for someone to be in.”
McCain notably took a swipe at Trump after her father, Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain passed away due to complications from brain cancer. During her father’s funeral, McCain mocked Trump’s campaign slogan, stating, “The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great.”
McCain took another shot at Trump while talking about “American greatness,” asserting that she was referencing “The real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who lived lives of comfort and privilege while he suffered and served.”

Bernie Sanders: “There Is No Middle Ground,” ‘We’re Going To Stop Using Gas & Coal’
Gotta love when Millionaire communists lecture you on what you can and can’t do. Good thing he will never be elected President!
Via The Daily Caller:
2020 candidate and self-described democratic socialist Bernie Sanders said that the United States has to stop using gasoline and coal, and that “there ain’t no middle ground” on the issue.
“It is no secret that we must transition away from fossil fuels, period. End of discussion. There ain’t no middle ground…There is no middle ground,” Sanders said during a speech Thursday in California.
The Independent Vermont senator released a climate plan Thursday modeled after the “Green New Deal” that called for $16 trillion in new spending to fight climate change.
A key part of the plan is “Justice for frontline communities,” which refers to “under-resourced groups, communities of color, Native Americans, people with disabilities, children and the elderly – to recover from, and prepare for, the climate impacts, including through a $40 billion Climate Justice Resiliency Fund.”
Sanders’ plan, which is modeled as a “Green New Deal,” also targets “environmental racism.”
“The Green New Deal must serve to address modern and historical inequities and environmental racism,” it reads.
Sanders has sought to separate himself from the field of other 2020 Democratic contenders by proposing far-left plans on a variety of issues.
On health care, Sanders supports a “Medicare for All” style plan which would eliminate private health insurance plans and give free health care to illegal immigrants. Continue Reading

Via Daily Caller:
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders introduced a $16.3-trillion plan similar to the Green New Deal on Thursday, which he says will create 20 million jobs.
The plan aims to make 100% of energy for U.S. electricity and transportation renewable by 2030 and have “complete decarbonization” by 2050, according to its outline.
Bernie Sanders just spoke at a rally in downtown Sacramento. Trump supporters showed up & they didn't attack or beat anyone. They just politely discussed their political beliefs with those in attendance. Wonder if MSM will cover that. @realDonaldTrump @DonaldJTrumpJr @Scavino45 pic.twitter.com/e1e8gAbZPW

“As President, Bernie Sanders will boldly embrace the moral imperative of climate change and mobilize the political will necessary for a wholesale transformation of our society, with massive investments in sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and a transformation of our transportation system,” his plan reads.
