Hong Kong Cops Take Violent Action On Media Documenting Their Approach To Rioters

Published

Patriotic protesters in Hong Kong are revolting against China’s communist leadership by rioting in the streets for weeks with no end in sight. Their militarized police force is brutal, using tear gas and rubber bullets on citizens, and other violent means to impose punishment.

Although millennial freedom fighters pose no physical threat to the officers, they do to the country’s government. Because of this, as well as their strong demands to be released from a dictatorship, the well-funded police force in this communist country show no restraint on people occupying the streets of this massive city.

While media is generally off-limits to police to use physical retaliation on them, that seems to have changed overnight in Hong Kong. Cops are now taking vicious action on journalists, including our own reporter, Jeff Rainforth, who has been on the ground for just two days, live documenting the crisis.

Three minutes into Rainforth’s live feed he shared on social media Sunday morning, officers come up to the crowd that he and several other members of the media are and hose them down with pepper spray while they were simply filming the scene. None of these people in the group had attacked officers or antagonized them in any way to deserve any kind of recourse, but were on the receiving end of it anyway. You can hear our Right Wing News reporter suffering painful, burning skin, after having been soaked by the spray on his face and arms. [VIDEO BELOW]

Thankfully, Rainforth was wearing safety eye gear, but that didn’t protect other parts of his body from getting hit. He’s fortunate that this ambush wasn’t with tear gas, as is a typical tool frequently used by the riot police. This is why many protesters and members of the media wear gas masks much of the time, including our reporter for Right Wing News.

The people protesting for freedom and democracy in a communist country, many of whom are “millennials,” are far more patriotic and brave than those of the same age here in America who don’t understand how privileged they are to live in a free country. These patriots in Hong Kong are being tear gassed and pummeled with rubber bullets, and arrested for wearing masks similar to what Antifa here hides behind without recourse.

These young Chinese activists are taking all this abuse to heroically stand up for rights they deserve that some citizens in the U.S. take for granted while demanding changes to our government that would ultimately make America more like China. For that reason, we feel it’s incredibly important to bring you this coverage from Hong Kong and hope to restore your faith in the patriotic spirit of standing up and fighting for freedom. Please stay tuned for more of Jeff Rainforth’s live coverage of it from the front lines of the China crisis and share it with others since mainstream media won’t show you the reality on the ground.
