Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has been on a tear for the last couple of weeks and it has been inspiring. He’s ripped Democrats a new one on multiple media outlets and has confronted leftists, haters, and protesters like a conservative bulldog. Initially, I was shocked by Graham’s transformation… albeit pleasantly so. He seems to be morphing into a true patriot and I love it.
This week, Graham appeared on Laura Ingraham’s show on Fox. He had a very blunt message for his Democrat colleagues and former friends. He called Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez’s response to the FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh “bulls**t” on Fox News Thursday. His use of profanity here was calculated and was thrown back in Menendez’s face on purpose.
“That report — if that’s an investigation, it’s a bullshit investigation. The reality is that is not a full and thorough investigation,” Menendez said earlier in the day.

The response by Graham forced Fox News to get out the bleeper. I would never have believed the former demure southern gentleman would finally grow a set and let loose but there you have it. Respect.
Even Laura Ingraham was taken aback and that takes some doing. Graham had joined her on her show to talk about how Democrats are handling the Kavanaugh FBI report. Ingraham played audio of Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez calling the investigation “bulls**t.” So, you see… Lindsey’s response was very appropriate.
After Menedez grandstanded, Graham let him have it: “Let me tell it to my friend Bob, what y’all have done is bulls**t.” That’s uncharacteristic for Graham but in context, it was the right move here.
Graham had previously told the Democrats: “It’s going to blow up in your face. I hope it does because it was wrong. He’s gonna get on the court. They have no idea what the FBI supplemental investigation was about. They made up their minds to vote no before anybody said hello. … These two people who are my friends have no idea what they’re talking about.” I doubt the ‘friends’ part will remain, but he is right all the way on this.
From Fox News Insider:
“Senate Judiciary Committee member Lindsey Graham ripped Democrats who he said are “making a mockery of [the] ‘advise & consent'” tradition in the Senate with their treatment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
“On “The Ingraham Angle,” Laura Ingraham asked Graham (R-S.C.) what tactic Democrats might employ next to stymie a Supreme Court pick.
“Think of the dumbest idea and they’ll do it,” Graham said. “If they ever write a book about overplaying their hand in politics, this is the first chapter.”
“Graham said the FBI probe followed the wishes of the small group of senators who expressly asked for it before choosing whether they’d vote to confirm Kavanaugh.
“Now that the probe has been completed, Ingraham pointed out, Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) has called it a “bulls**t investigation” and Sen. Edward Markey (D-Mass.) has called it a “cover-up.”
“To my good friends, is this advise and consent?” he asked of the two Democrats. “Your view of the Senate’s role is to take a good man’s life and turn it upside down.”
“That’s not advise and consent, that’s despicable,” Graham said of Democrats’ actions during the confirmation process. “[This] might blow up in your face — I hope it does.”
“Let me tell it to my friend Bob, what y’all have done is bulls**t,” Graham added, borrowing Menendez’ choice of expletive.
“Graham said that protesters hassling Republicans in the halls of Congress “won’t work” with him.
“Addressing top Democrat Sen. Charles Schumer of New York, Graham said, “I’ve never been more disappointed in you and your party.'”
This just goes to show how fed up even Lindsey Graham is with all the mud-slinging from the Democrats over the Kavanaugh confirmation. They pulled out all the stops and according to the polls, it will cost them dearly in the midterms. I sure hope so. Polls released this week showed upwards of 80 percent of Republicans support Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
Graham, who is a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, predicted the controversy surrounding Kavanaugh and its timing weeks before the midterm elections will help the Republican Party because it is uniting President Trump’s supporters. What the Republicans could not do, the Democrats have done for them unwittingly.
Menendez may call the FBI’s investigation “bulls**t” but Kavanaugh was investigated six times prior to this investigation. Nothing would have satisfied the left except an indefinite investigation that found Kavanaugh guilty. The only problem is, he isn’t and there is no corroborating evidence whatsoever to prove that he did anything wrong not only 36 years ago but in all the time since then.
I relish the new and improved Lindsey Graham. I just hope that more Republicans find their collective spines and follow his lead.
