Golden Globe Winner Trashes Wall Supporters, Amputee Vet Sets Him Straight REAL Fast

Published

on

The left in Hollywood, which is the majority in that town, hate everything that middle-America stands for – Faith, family, and freedom. They hate that there is a president who is standing up for them, also.

The so-called “elites” in Tinseltown laughingly believe they should be the nation’s “moral compass,” and that those who don’t believe what they do are “backward.” These “elites” align with socialist-Democrats at almost every turn and attack President Trump for putting America first & making it great again.

We’ve seen the disgusting attacks on Trump by those in Hollywood who hold pictures of his decapitated head, scream profanities about him while their colleagues cheer, and even some who “suggest” through their “art” that the president should be assassinated. They even attack his wife, Melania, and son Barron over his politics. That hasn’t deterred President Trump from doing what’s best for the country, though.

Last night, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association held the annual Golden Globe Awards. As to be expected, some attending disparaged President Trump & his supporters, specifically over the issue of the wall Trump has promised to have built on the southern border.

Over the past few months, we’ve seen massive caravans from Central America violently attempt to breach the southern border, a member of MS-13 and a convicted murderer infiltrate the caravan & cross the border, disease break out in caravan camps in Tijuana, a California police officer killed by an illegal immigrant who had gang ties, and the Border Patrol say that they are overwhelmed & need help. This while Democrats say we have nothing to worry about & that we should let all illegals in without going through the proper procedures.

Despite the evidence being right before their eyes that we need border security & a wall which the Border Patrol says works to keep us safe, Hollywood leftists scream that a wall is immoral.

At the Golden Globes last night, producer Brad Simpson accepted an award for his TV series, “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.” After accepting the award, Simpson went on to trash supporters of the wall & President Trump as “forces of hate and fear” and called for Hollywood to “resist” them.

Variety Magazine reported:

“Executive producer Brad Simpson accepted 2019 Golden Globe for limited series/TV movie for FX anthology drama “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” and used his time on stage to ask those in the industry and beyond to “resist.”

The series was centered on famed fashion designer Gianni Versace’s 1997 murder and the crime spree that led his killer Andrew Cunanan to take his life.

“Gianni Versace was one of very few public figures who was out during a time of intense fear and hate,” Simpson said. “Those forces of hate and fear are still with us — they tell us we should be scared of people who ware different than us, they tell us we should put walls around ourselves. As artists we must fight back by representing those who are not represented and by providing a space for people who are new voices to tell stories that haven’t been told.”

Furthermore, though, Simpson said that “as human beings we should resist in the streets, resist at the ballot box, and practice love and empathy in our everyday lives.”

“Our show is a period piece, but those forces are not historical. They’re here they’re with us and we must resist,” he continued.”

A Mexican director also spoke against the wall as NBC News reported:

At least two prominent speakers argued against building walls [Brad Simpson being one], in the second week of a government shutdown triggered, in no small measure by Trump’s demand for money to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron, won two awards for his film “Roma,” about an indigenous woman housekeeper working in an affluent, but broken, Mexico City home. The winner for Best Director and Best Foreign Language Film told the crowd his view of the power of film.

“Cinema at its best allows us to tear down walls and builds bridges to other cultures…”

Cuaron also spoke of his “color” and thanked his “familia” and “Mexico.”

Cuaron spoke in Spanish in portions of his speech, to which one Twitter user remarked that he hoped Republicans are dying over it.

Triple-amputee vet Airman Brian Kolfage is an American hero who has been fighting to have a wall built on our southern border, and in 3 weeks he has raised almost $20 million to do it. Kolfage took on Simpson, Cuaron, & other Hollywood “elites” who want open borders and say that wall supporters are racist haters.

Kolfage wrote in a post on his Twitter account:

[email protected] continued on the 4-year HORRIBLE ratings slide after going Anti-Wall last night. Our nation was built on ‘LEGAL’ immigration, there’s a difference. #OUTOFTOUCH”

Airman Kolfage is correct, the Golden Globes are out of touch with most Americans on issues such as the wall, which is why the show’s ratings are diving.

Fox News reports:

“Even with a big NFL lead-in, two likable hosts, and a seeming moratorium on Trump bashing, the Golden Globes found itself losing even more viewers.

Ratings for Sunday’s telecast dropped 5 percent compared to last year’s already low-rated show, according to Deadline.”

Fox also reported that the Globes, “managed to largely avoid polarizing politics, which has been blamed for the decline in viewership in recent, similar events. However, citing early numbers, Deadline reported that the Golden Globes snagged a 12.7/21 rating in metered-market result — the lowest since 2015.”

Kolfage also correctly noted that our country was built on LEGAL immigration, a fact that the left in Hollywood hate. They are part of the socialist-Democrat crowd that wants open borders, sanctuary cities, and to abolish ICE. They care about illegals more than American citizens, which was evidenced by their silence after the killing of the California cop by an illegal immigrant the day after Christmas.

World War II Vet Dies On ‘Honor Flight,’ Returning From Memorial In D.C.

Published

on

Frank Manchel, 95, got to leave this world on his own terms and on a high note. He passed away on the final leg of a trip sponsored by Honor Flight San Diego, a nonprofit that gives World War II veterans all-expense-paid visits to Washington, D.C. Surrounded by fellow patriots and accompanied by his son, Manchel was happy and laughing in the last moments of his life and he knew that many people honored him for his World War II service.

Two physicians aboard the chartered American Airlines flight tried to resuscitate him after he collapsed, but Manchel died before the plane landed at San Diego International Airport. “It was almost instantaneous,” said Dave Smith, founder of Honor Flight San Diego. “He was laughing, chatting, having a good time — and then he collapsed.”

“We extend our deepest sympathies to the Manchel family,” said Honor Flight San Diego Chairman Julie Brightwell in a statement released Monday. “It was our privilege to honor this true American hero during his final hours.”

Manchel came from Michigan and he was an Army technical sergeant during the war. Last Friday, he flew from San Diego with 82 other veterans and their “guardians,” family members and other volunteers who help the elderly soldiers, sailors, and fliers during their visit.

From Military.com:

“Last weekend’s trip was Honor Flight San Diego’s 14th journey, and it followed the by-now standard schedule. On Saturday, the veterans visited the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Air Force Memorial, the Navy Yard’s museum and other sites with historic significance.

“On Sunday, the group toured a military electronics museum before taking a bus back to the airport for the flight home.

“Although the days were packed, Manchel was able to enjoy a mini-family reunion. He was accompanied by his son, Dr. Bruce Manchel. Manchel’s 93-year-old brother, Jerome, came to D.C. from his home in Michigan with his son, David. Another of Frank Manchel’s son, Howard, came up from Atlanta.

“Shelley Zimmerman, the former San Diego police chief and the daughter of a World War II veteran, was on the trip as a “guardian,” a volunteer who helps smooth out any difficulties for the elderly visitors. Chatting with the Manchels on Saturday, she was struck by the senior veteran’s upbeat mood.

“He was 100 percent engaged, proud, humble — as these veterans are,” Zimmerman said. “You could just tell how proud they all were of him. It was just wonderful, a loving, loving family.”

“On the return flight, Manchel signed a World War II book for another guardian. About 1:30 p.m., an hour before the flight’s scheduled arrival in San Diego, Manchel stood up and then fell to the floor. His son and another doctor rushed to assist him.

“They tried to do CPR for over 12 minutes,” Smith said.

“Manchel, though, was unresponsive and never recovered. Chaplains prayed over the body, which was then draped in an American flag.

“As the plane began its descent into San Diego, Zimmerman turned to Dr. Manchel.

“If you are up to this,” she said, “to honor your father, let’s sing ‘God Bless America.'”

“The son agreed and soon the entire plane was filled with emotional, choked-up voices raised in patriotic song.

“As the other veterans filed out of the plane, each saluted while passing their fallen comrade. Zimmerman oversaw Manchel’s removal through the rear of the plane, following protocol for a dead police officer or member of the armed services. The body was carried through a cordon of medical personnel, firefighters and law enforcement officers, saluting as Manchel went by.

“My father’s passing was the ending to the most amazing weekend, surrounded by his newest best friends,” said Dr. Manchel in a statement released Monday. “We thank all of you — Honor Flight San Diego, American Airlines, San Diego International Airport, friends, and supporters for your concern and for allowing the weekend to be so special for all of us to share together.

“Frank passed quickly and peacefully, and the compassion and respect that that was shown to our family will always be treasured. May he rest in peace as he is now with his other beloved son Jimmy.”‘

Manchel was the first veteran to die while on an Honor Flight San Diego trip, but six other deaths have occurred during Honor Flights originating in other cities.

Manchel is owed one more, posthumous, flight. American Airlines has offered to convey the late veteran’s remains and any family members to Michigan, where the family plans services and burial at no cost. But his final flight in life will always stand out for those who accompanied, honored and loved him.

VIDEO: Alyssa Milano Defends Biden Touching, Smelling Women: It’s ‘Cultural Differences’

Published

on

Actress and #MeToo activist Alyssa Milano went on MSNBC to air her defense of the handsy former vice president and declared Democrat presidential contender Joe Biden. He has been accused of sexual misconduct by numerous women. Uncle Joe has a thing for smelling hair, hugging, groping, and kissing females of all ages.

I’m not surprised that Milano is defending Biden here. She also defended Harvey Weinstein. She rationalized Biden’s bizarre behavior saying that Biden simply has “cultural differences.” Excuse me? He’s part of the American culture and there is no culture (except perhaps in certain Islamic ones) where behavior like this is acceptable. What a hypocrite Milano is.

This is the same kind of attitude you see on the left that defends Roman Polanski who raped a little girl and then fled the US. They still applaud the guy.

Milano says she spoke privately with Biden about his suspect behavior with women and noted that she was impressed by the Democrat candidate. Biden told her privately what she wishes “more men in positions of power would say out loud.” What? Your hair smells wonderful? Or, whispers of other things perhaps.

“He said to me, ‘I’m willing to learn, I’m willing to listen. I didn’t realize that I’m too affectionate,'” said Milano. And she bought that. She really does have a head full of cotton candy.

Milano says there is a spectrum when it comes to sexual misconduct. Which is something those on the right have been saying all along, but Milano only uses it for Democrats evidently. “And I think that this brings up a really important question that we really haven’t touched on in MeToo,” she said. “Often in these moments, where we’re hearing these stories, I think it’s important to emphasize the difference in these stories.” How convenient.

From The Daily Wire:

“Milano then directly addressed the accusations from former state Senator Lucy Flores (D-NV), who said Biden grabbed her shoulders, smelled her hair, and kissed the back of her head during a 2014 encounter.

“Apparently this interaction was nothing more than an expression of Biden’s “culture differences.”

“For me, the thing that set this story — the Ms. Flores story — apart from all the other stories: To Joe, this is a culture difference, because culturally he was raised in a family that was super affectionate,” Milano said.

“For him, this was a realization of, well, everyone sort of grows up in a different household, then maybe my actions make other people uncomfortable, and it was an acknowledgment,” the actress continued. “So I think it was important that it came out and I think that it is important to have men support women and say, ‘I hear you, and I wanna learn and make a change.’”

“For good measure, in defense of Biden’s actions, Milano offered an example of herself, a self-described “affectionate” person, crossing the line on set with the “prop guy.”

“I’m a very affectionate person, as well,” Milano explained. “I walked onto set a few weeks ago and I kissed my prop guy on the arm, and I had this moment of, like, maybe that made him uncomfortable.”

“That would have never crossed my mind before MeToo,” she added. “So I think we all have to look at our interactions and proceed cautiously.”

“Milano was leading the Hollywood charge against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh last year when he was non-credibly accused by Christine Blasey Ford of decades-old misconduct that lacked corroboration.

“Milano took Ford’s side without hesitation and appeared at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings to “represent survivors of sexual assault.”

“It was a very hard day to be in that room, but I was proud to be a woman and I was proud to be a survivor, and I felt like I needed to be there for other survivors that couldn’t be there,” the actress told CNN at the time.”

Where was her sense of awareness when it came to Brett Kavanaugh? Non-existent because he’s not one of the anointed on the left. The same goes for President Trump and any other conservative male. Milano only defends those who think the way she does and that says a great deal about her. And she is joined by a whole list of big names in Hollywood like Rob Reiner.

It’s funny how those on the left scream about the persecution of women until it’s one of their own doing it. Then it’s a ‘cultural difference’. See how that works? Neither do I.
