These moments of kindness, even to those we disagree with, have helped us stand strong through the worst of times in our country.
This is a sweet moment. I wish we would see more of this in our country. We sure would have a lot less problems.

A grieving George W. Bush managed to slip former first lady Michelle Obama a piece of candy just before his father’s state funeral got underway – just like he did at Senator John McCain’s service.

He gave Mrs Obama the candy as he was shaking her hand in the Washington National Cathedral on Wednesday for his father George W.H. Bush’s funeral.
Bush was greeting his predecessors and successors in the front row when he was spotted clearly placing something in the former first lady’s palm.
Mrs Obama and husband Barack both smiled to each other as Bush moved on to greet the Clintons and Carters further down the row.
The former president is known to share candy with Mrs Obama and was captured sneaking her a sweet during Senator John McCain’s funeral back in September.
Bush and Mrs Obama are usually seated next to each other at major events that former presidents and first ladies attend.
Bush, however, was seated close by with his family on Wednesday to honor his father.
Mrs Obama opened up about her close bond with Bush last month when she spoke of the now-viral moment he was caught handing her a cough drop during McCain’s funeral. Continue Reading

Bernie Sanders: “There Is No Middle Ground,” ‘We’re Going To Stop Using Gas & Coal’
Gotta love when Millionaire communists lecture you on what you can and can’t do. Good thing he will never be elected President!
Via The Daily Caller:
2020 candidate and self-described democratic socialist Bernie Sanders said that the United States has to stop using gasoline and coal, and that “there ain’t no middle ground” on the issue.
“It is no secret that we must transition away from fossil fuels, period. End of discussion. There ain’t no middle ground…There is no middle ground,” Sanders said during a speech Thursday in California.
The Independent Vermont senator released a climate plan Thursday modeled after the “Green New Deal” that called for $16 trillion in new spending to fight climate change.
A key part of the plan is “Justice for frontline communities,” which refers to “under-resourced groups, communities of color, Native Americans, people with disabilities, children and the elderly – to recover from, and prepare for, the climate impacts, including through a $40 billion Climate Justice Resiliency Fund.”
Sanders’ plan, which is modeled as a “Green New Deal,” also targets “environmental racism.”
“The Green New Deal must serve to address modern and historical inequities and environmental racism,” it reads.
Sanders has sought to separate himself from the field of other 2020 Democratic contenders by proposing far-left plans on a variety of issues.
On health care, Sanders supports a “Medicare for All” style plan which would eliminate private health insurance plans and give free health care to illegal immigrants. Continue Reading
Bernie Sanders Says His $16-Trillion Green New Deal-Like Plan Will Create 20 Million Jobs
Via Daily Caller:
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders introduced a $16.3-trillion plan similar to the Green New Deal on Thursday, which he says will create 20 million jobs.
The plan aims to make 100% of energy for U.S. electricity and transportation renewable by 2030 and have “complete decarbonization” by 2050, according to its outline.
Bernie Sanders just spoke at a rally in downtown Sacramento. Trump supporters showed up & they didn't attack or beat anyone. They just politely discussed their political beliefs with those in attendance. Wonder if MSM will cover that. @realDonaldTrump @DonaldJTrumpJr @Scavino45 pic.twitter.com/e1e8gAbZPW

“As President, Bernie Sanders will boldly embrace the moral imperative of climate change and mobilize the political will necessary for a wholesale transformation of our society, with massive investments in sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and a transformation of our transportation system,” his plan reads.
