Former Miss Iraq: Ilhan Omar Trying To Push Sharia Law On America

Published

on

This is certainly refreshing. A former Miss Iraq is speaking up against Ilhan Omar and her push for Sharia law in America. This beauty queen was forced to flee her native country after posting a selfie of herself and Miss Israel. She tore into Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) over it and she adamantly says that the congresswoman does not represent her as a Muslim.

“Ilhan Omar does not represent me as a Muslim — does not represent millions of Muslims in the Middle East,” Sarah Idan, who lives in the U.S. told “The Sara Carter Show.” “You know like in Arab countries we call her the Muslim Brotherhood,” she added. “They are extremist Muslims, Sunni Muslims, who are now working together with Iran against all the Arab countries,” she said. “They’re working now with Hezbollah, with Turkey, with all that. You know the thing is about this organization, they are extremist Muslims, they’re Jihadis, and they have this ideology that they want to control the world.”

I really like this woman… she speaks the unvarnished truth and is absolutely fearless. Women like Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Idan said, exploit progressive sentiments. “They feed on the sympathy of people,” Idan added. Yes, and Omar is part of the communist Farmer-Labor Party in MN. So, she pushes not only Marxism but elitist Sharia law as well.

From Breitbart:

“Her remarks came in the wake of a Twitter battle in which Idan accused Omar of trying to “export” the same ideology that she fled from in the Middle East. “First was the Middle East, then Europe & now the USA. I fled from the same ideology you’re trying to export here,” she said.

“In an interview with i24 News, Idan expanded on the accusation, saying, “It’s an ideology of trying to push Islam to make it the ruling system of the country.”

“She continued by saying that Omar angered a lot of Muslims in the U.S. because she always says, “I speak for every Muslim in this country.”

“She made a lot of us angry — moderate Muslims who escaped Sharia, who are trying to push for moderate Islam and a reform of Islam,” Idan said.

'Ilhan Omar Doesn't Represent Me'

Ilhan Omar is always promoting an Islamist agenda while claiming to speak for all the Muslims in America, including the moderates who oppose Sharia, says Former Miss Iraq Sarai Idan.📺 More i24ne.ws/VZC830n1FWe

“In an earlier tweet, Idan described the Minnesota Representative’s agenda as “anti-American.”

“Seriously @IlhanMN this is your intellectual come back?” she asked. “I said as a MUSLIM! I don’t stand for your anti-American, anti-Semitic, Muslim Brotherhood agenda using this democracy to further YOUR & YOUR FRIENDS Islamic socialism goals of dividing & weakening our country.”

“The former Miss Universe contestant, who grew up in Iraq under the regime of Saddam Hussein, fled the country after receiving threats that her Iraqi citizenship would be withdrawn because she posted a selfie with Miss Israel.”

Two years ago, Idan’s family left Iraq after she received backlash over modeling in a bikini and posting photos taken with Miss Israel Adar Gandelsman on social media.

The Iraqi government threatened to cancel her citizenship over the “selfie.” In addition, Idan and her family received a number of death threats, some allegedly from Hamas, as well as from the Iraqi and conservative Muslim communities abroad.

“Two years ago, I represented Iraq at Miss Universe. I posted a photo with Miss Israel on social media. I was told to remove it and forced to denounce Israeli police,” she said in a speech at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in June. “I received death threats. Since then I can no longer return to my homeland. Why did the Iraqi government fail to condemn the threats, or allow my freedom of speech?”

Idan equated Omar’s support for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim advocacy group that critics say has ties to terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah, to those terrorists themselves. Good for her and spot on.

I don’t agree with the Islamic religion. It is a warrior religion and is flawed in my viewpoint… but I could exist with a reformed Islam as this woman is condoning.

Idan was born and raised in Baghdad and taught herself English at age 13 by listening to western music. After the U.S.-led Iraq invasion in 2003, she moved to Syria. She returned to Iraq and worked as a translator for the U.S. military before emigrating to America. She describes herself as a secular Muslim.

She was crowned Miss Iraq in America in 2016 and Miss Universe Iraq the following year. She represented Iraq at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant in Las Vegas.

Contrast that with Omar’s actions:

“The Minnesota congresswomen headlined a CAIR event this spring in which stated: “CAIR was founded after 9/11, because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.”

“Critics blasted the congresswoman for downplaying 9/11 as just “something” with the president tweeting out a video of Omar’s comments juxtaposed between 9/11 imagery.

“The 37-year-old freshman congresswoman also has a long history of anti-Semitic comments including calling Israel “evil,” suggested the American Israel Public Affairs Committee pays off politicians to be pro-Israel, and accused pro-Israel Jews of having duel loyalties.

“Omar apologized for the first two statements calling them “anti-Semitic” but has since said critics use charges of anti-Semitism to silence her.”

The only reason that Omar is in office is that a bunch of Somalian Muslims were relocated to the U.S. and there is a pocket of them in her district. It was just enough to get her elected so she could spout hatred against Israel and push Sharia law while causing as much chaos for Americans in general as possible. After all, they are nothing but infidels to her.

As Idan has stated: “Freedom to express one’s views is not confined to the district in which one lives.”

Christian students around globe to gather, give atheist HUGE finger

Christian students around the world are participating in the faith-based annual “See You at the Pole” prayer rally Wednesday morning.

The movement that began in 1990 by a group of Texas students – and has been student-led ever since – has grown to an annual event that draws one million students across America and in more than 64 countries.

For King & Country singers Joel and Luke Smallbone promoted the prayer event in a video.

“This has always been something that has been close to me and my heart because I’ve been able to see the power of prayer and to be able to see when school students get together and surround that flag and be able to pray together, something real significant takes place,” Luke Smallbone said, adding that he participated as a kid.

Many students plan their meeting at the flag pole at 7 a.m. and circle up, holding hands in prayer. Some gatherings include worship, Bible reading, and sharing, but all focus on one thing: prayer.

“It’s not about making a statement,” this year’s promotion video says. “It’s about prayer.”

The theme for the event is a Bible verse from 2 Chronicles 7:14, according to CBN News: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

SYATP officials advise students, “You can legally gather for prayer before school, but it’s best to let the administration know ahead of time.”

The event is the highlight for the Global Week of Student Prayer Sept. 22-28.

Politician Under ‘Hate Crime Investigation’ For Sharing Bible Verse

Times are getting scary, folks.

Via Fox News:

Police are investigating a Christian politician in Finland for an alleged “hate crime” because she shared a Bible verse on Facebook to criticize a national church that participated in LGBT Pride festivities.

In the post, congresswoman Päivi Räsänen, a Christian Democrat, criticized the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland for participating in the Helsinki LGBT Pride events in June. Her criticism was alongside a picture of Romans 1:24-27 that describes same-sex relationships as “shameful.”

Her post made Räsänen the subject of a pretrial investigation by the Finnish Police for a suspected incitement against sexual and gender minorities.

“The pre-trial investigations have not yet been completed. Police will provide more details once the investigations have been completed or presented to a prosecutor for consideration of charges,” the Helsinki Police Department officer in charge of the investigation told the Helsinki Times.

Räsänen, who is a member of and is married to a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland (ELCF), came under fire for her June Facebook post: “How can the church’s doctrinal foundation, the Bible, be compatible with the lifting up of shame and sin as a subject of pride? #LGBT #HelsinkiPride2019.”

The vast majority, 69 percent, of Finns are members of the ELCF, which has had a steady decline over the last few years, according to Evangelical Focus.

In mid-August, the Finnish politician tweeted: “I am not concerned on my part, as I trust this will not move on to the prosecutor. However, I am concerned if quoting the Bible is considered even ‘slightly’ illegal. I hope this won’t lead to self-censorship among Christians. Rom. 1:24–27.”

Räsänen’s minority party holds five seats in the 200-seat Finnish Parliament. She is known for her defense of traditional Christian views on abortion and marriage, but after being called “homophobic,” the politician tweeted: “It is not right to label Christian conviction as phobia.”

She is one of three politicians in the nation under pretrial investigation right now, joining Social Democrat Hussein Al-Taee and Finns Party Juha Mäenpää, who are suspected of incitement due to racist comments.
