Christine Blasey Ford is still adamant that Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her 36 years ago. However, her story is full of holes and inconsistencies big enough to drive a semi through. Now, her ex-boyfriend just blew up her story in a spectacular way.
The ex-boyfriend has submitted a sworn statement casting serious doubt on her testimony against Brett Kavanaugh. He contends that in the six years they dated, she never once mentioned the incident. Not once. This was in the late 1990’s. She has hidden this information from the beginning.
He also says that not only did she not have a fear of flying or tight spaces… she flew all the time. Oopsie.
But the last nail in the coffin, in my opinion, is where he swears she coached her best friend on how to pass a polygraph for a job at the FBI and US Attorney’s office. That means that Ford perjured herself when she was asked directly in the hearing the other day if she had given tips on how to pass a polygraph. Case closed if you ask me.
They evidently broke up because Ford cheated on him and then she used his credit card for a year after they parted ways. He had to confront her on it because at first, she lied about it. When he threatened to notify fraud prevention, she came clean. Does this sound to you like a credible witness or a person that can be believed at face value? Nope, it sure doesn’t to me. Ford sounds like a real winner to me.
Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley pounced on this and is pursuing it.
From the Wall Street Journal:
“The Senate Judiciary Committee chairman sent a letter on Tuesday to Christine Blasey Ford’s attorneys, requesting evidence to buttress her sexual assault claim that has “put Judge (Brett) Kavanaugh on trial before the nation.”
“In his letter, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) said that Dr. Ford’s attorneys have withheld evidence that senators need to evaluate the allegations before voting on the nomination of President Trump’s Supreme Court pick.
“Mr. Grassley requested notes from Dr. Ford’s therapy sessions, recordings of the lie detector test she took, and exchanges she had with the news media.
“The two-page letter also questioned Dr. Ford’s truthfulness.
“When she testified before the Judiciary Committee last week about the alleged decades-old attack, Dr. Ford was asked if she had ever spoken to anyone besides her attorneys on how to take a lie-detector test.
“Never,” she said.
“When asked if she had discussed with anyone tips on taking a polygraph, she said, “No.”
“In seeking the lie-detector records, Mr. Grassley said that the committee had gotten a sworn statement from an unnamed former boyfriend of Dr. Ford.”

In his letter, Sen. Grassley also wrote that Ford’s testimony at the hearing “raises specific concerns about the reliability of her polygraph examination results. The Senate, therefore, needs this information.”
“Your continued withholding of material evidence despite multiple requests is unacceptable as the Senate exercises its constitutional responsibility of advice and consent for a judicial nomination,” Grassley (R-IA) wrote.
Frankly, this should put an end to this whole farce, but it won’t. The Democrats are going to connive, manipulate and scheme while screaming that this investigation is not being conducted in an ethical fashion. It is sheer obstructionism because they want to delay the nomination of Kavanaugh indefinitely until they can get more political power lined up in the House and Senate.
It is not clear when the Senate Judiciary Committee staff came into possession of the letter. Mitchell’s specific questioning about polygraph preparation during Ford’s committee testimony, however, may indicate committee staff had some knowledge of the allegations laid out in the letter at least as early as last week. That question was not random or by chance and I think the Republicans knew about the allegation and were vetting it.

More from Fox News:
“Some of the apparent inconsistencies, Grassley wrote, could possibly be addressed if Ford’s legal team turned over all video or audio recordings produced during her own polygraph examination. Ford passed that polygraph, and in a handwritten statement she wrote prior to the test, she indicated “there were 4 boys and a couple of girls” at the gathering.
“However, in Ford’s letter to Feinstein in July, she gave a different tally, writing instead that the party “included me and 4 others.” Under oath on Thursday, Ford for the first time mentioned that a fourth boy was at the party, but that she could not remember his name.
“Grassley also demanded Ford’s attorneys hand over notes from her 2012 therapy sessions in which she claimed to have discussed her alleged sexual assault decades ago. The senator said it was “not justified” any longer for Ford to cite privacy and medical privilege given that she has relied on them extensively as a kind of corroborating evidence to implicate Kavanaugh.
“On Thursday, Ford claimed she could not say definitively whether she had shared those notes with The Washington Post approximately two months ago, as opposed to describing them abstractly. The Post wrote that it had reviewed a “portion” of Ford’s notes.
“Additionally, Grassley requested copies of communications between Ford and the media describing her allegations, saying that the legal team’s failure to provide Ford’s full correspondence with The Washington Post suggested a “lack of candor.'”
The ex-boyfriend does not want his name out there or to testify in public over this. I don’t blame him. But he is trying to do the right thing here it would seem.
It’s also interesting to note WaPo’s involvement in all of this. What is clear is that this should put to rest all of this nonsense and Kavanaugh should be confirmed immediately.

Amazon Cancels Plan For New York City Headquarters & 25k Jobs Because Of Ocasio
This is not a good day for New York and the good citizens there can thank their liberal tax and spend elitist leaders for their misery. That includes Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. You could say that Jeff Bezos and Cuomo lose and Trump wins once again. That makes me smile.
Fresh off Cuomo making a pilgrimage to the White House to beg President Trump for money and then being told to frack off, another blow just landed to a state that suddenly has a deficit of $2.3 billion in their budget. This won’t help that. Amazon has canceled its plans to build its second headquarters in New York City.
After Ocasio-Cortez whined over the job-maker coming to New York, Bezos decided he had had enough of the socialists. At least for now. He seems rather bent that way himself. Bezos not only owns Amazon.com… he owns the fact-challenged Washington Post. He’s also in the middle of the world’s most expensive divorce.
Amazon is paying $0 in taxes on $11+ billion in profit.
$0 for schools.
$0 for firefighters.
$0 for infrastructure.
$0 for research and healthcare.
Why should corporations that contribute nothing to the pot be in a position to take billions from the public? https://t.co/IdsuKaVOTU

“After much thought and deliberation, we’ve decided not to move forward with our plans to build a headquarters for Amazon in Long Island City, Queens,” the Seattle-based Amazon said in the release.
“For Amazon, the commitment to build a new headquarters requires positive, collaborative relationships with state and local elected officials who will be supportive over the long-term. While polls show that 70% of New Yorkers support our plans and investment, a number of state and local politicians have made it clear that they oppose our presence and will not work with us to build the type of relationships that are required to go forward with the project we and many others envisioned in Long Island City,” the statement reads.
What you don’t read there is it is also a tax and regulation issue. New York has been remade into a hostile business environment by leftists. This is the result of that. The company added that it is “disappointed to have reached this conclusion.” I’m sure they are… now they’ll be forced to set up shop in a less-progressive location. Bummer.
“We are deeply grateful to Governor Cuomo, Mayor de Blasio, and their staffs, who so enthusiastically and graciously invited us to build in New York City and supported us during the process,” the company continued in the statement. I wonder if some harsh words are being thrown at Ocasio-Cortez right now.
Amazon touting “jobs” (has anyone fact-checked where this 25k number even came from? How many were promised to be local hires?)
…but they refused to even consider hiring union when we insisted labor be part of the conversation.
Union jobs are a key ladder to the middle class. https://t.co/HefYzOBhyG

From Fox News:
“Bankrate.com’s senior economic analyst Mark Hamrick called it a “stunning development,” adding: “For those who didn’t want Amazon to bring the promised 25,000 new jobs and added economic vitality to the area: Be careful what you wish for.”
“Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Amazon was reconsidering its plans for its New York office, which led to cheers from Ocasio-Cortez. “Can everyday people come together and effectively organize against creeping overreach of one of the world’s biggest corporations? Yes, they can,” the freshman lawmaker tweeted.
Anything is possible: today was the day a group of dedicated, everyday New Yorkers & their neighbors defeated Amazon’s corporate greed, its worker exploitation, and the power of the richest man in the world. https://t.co/nyvm5vtH9k
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) February 14, 2019
“Ocasio-Cortez has also slammed the company for having bias in its facial recognition technology.
Nothing Amazon has said or done – including selling facial recognition technology to ICE & its intent to fight against worker unionization – would lead us to believe it could be a good or healthy neighbor for NYC. https://t.co/BwASshxJ9F
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) February 1, 2019
“Fox News has reached out to Governor Cuomo, Mayor de Blasio and Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez’s office for comment.
“Amazon said it would proceed as planned with the second part of its HQ2, which will be built in Northern Virginia, as well as its distribution center that it said it would open in Nashville. It will also continue to “hire and grow across our 17 corporate offices and tech hubs in the U.S. and Canada.”
“The deal was greeted with much fanfare when it was announced last year and was lauded as a major economic boost.
“New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio had touted the benefits of Amazon’s HQ2, which included a pledge from the tech giant to create 25,000 jobs, paying an average of $150,000 per year in exchange for a slew of city and state tax breaks and subsidies worth up to $3 billion.
“In addition to the 25,000 jobs, Amazon would’ve brought $2.5 billion in Amazon investment and eventually 8 million square feet of office space to Long Island City as part of its investment announced last November. The Seattle-based company said it would have generated “incremental tax revenue of more than $10 billion over the next 20 years as a result of Amazon’s investment and job creation.”‘
A recent poll showed that 57 percent of New Yorkers welcomed Amazon and the jobs it would bring. So much for socialists supporting the working man.
And while there are those that dithered over what Amazon’s decision could do to already rising real estate prices in the area, Hamrick said this won’t solve those problems.
“From a broader view, this decision will do nothing to resolve the challenges associated with housing affordability voiced by critics of the Amazon decision and the generous tax incentives offered by government,” Hamrick said in comments obtained by Fox News. “That requires a bigger conversation which could very well unfold along with the 2020 election cycle.”
One thing is certain, less business means fewer jobs, which means less money rolling into New York’s coffers. This is what happens when you let socialists run your state like a bunch of free-range chickens.
