Democrats’ New Leading 2020 Candidate Is Someone None Of Us Have Ever Heard Of

Normally, I would just laugh myself silly over something like this… but this could be deadly serious. The Democrats took a poll on who their leading candidate should be in the 2020 election. Democrats stated overwhelmingly that they want someone new they don’t know. That’s horrible news for the left as they have dozens of candidates who are throwing their hats into the ring this time. Their base’s dislike of the party is a huge gift to President Trump because it could ensure a second term for him.

From The Daily Wire:

According to a new poll, the 2020 presidential candidate most preferred by Democratic and independent voters is — nobody you’ve heard of.

Asking respondents which candidate they’d be most excited to see run in 2020, the USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll found that “someone entirely new” led the field; 59% of voters said they’d be excited to see that person run. Only 11% of voters disliked the idea of an entirely new person running for the office.

The next-most-favored candidate was former Vice President Joe Biden; 53% of voters said they’d be excited to see him run; 24% of respondents were against his candidacy.

David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk Political Research Center, stated, “The ‘someone new’ versus Joe Biden finding illustrates the generational divide within the Democratic Party dating back to Walter Mondale versus Gary Hart in 1984. The test is which candidate can build on their core ‘excitement’ and not lose the voters of other Democrats who fall by the wayside.”

Senator Bernie Sanders followed Biden, with 36% of respondents excited about his possible candidacy, but he was underwater; 41% of respondents didn’t want him to run.

Rep. Beto O’Rourke, who lost in his senatorial bid against incumbent Senator Ted Cruz in Texas and has experienced a flurry of media breathlessness over his possible candidacy, only got 30% of voters saying they’d be excited about him running, half of what Biden received. 35% of voters said they’d never heard of him.

Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) closely followed O’Rourke; 29% of voters said they’d be excited to see Harris run, as 34 % of respondents had never heard of her; 28% were excited about a Booker run; 29% of respondents had never heard of him. …

Democrats’ first choice is someone entirely new and then Joe Biden who is now 76-years-old. He looks in good health though, so who knows. Even Bernie Sanders is underwater. Then you have the party clowns coming down like Beto O’Rourke, Cory Booker, and Kamala Harris. The poll involved 689 Democrats and Independents. It was taken by landline and cell phone on Dec. 11-16 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.

A year before the race starts and no one is favored by the leftists… something tells me they will come up with a dark horse. In politics, a dark horse is a candidate for office who is considered unlikely to receive his or her party’s nomination, but who might be nominated if party leaders cannot agree on a better candidate.

All of this is literally a gift to President Trump. If the trend continues, Trump will be making America great again for another four years and the Marxists will throw tantrums all the way. Good times.
