Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib Suggests Mark Meadows Is Racist – He Utterly DESTROYS Her – WATCH

Published

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) came unglued yesterday, and rightly so, during the Michael Cohen hearing when Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) suggested on the record that he was racist. Meadows invited Lynne Patton, a top Trump housing official who is black, to attend the hearing in order to push back on any accusations that Trump was racist and that set Tlaib off.

“Just because someone has a person of color, a black person, working for them does not mean they aren’t racist and … the fact someone would actually use a prop, a black woman in this chamber, in this committee is alone racist in itself,” Tlaib said as she took aim at Meadows. What a massive insult and a monstrous breach of decorum. She should have been ejected from the hearing for that stunt.

Meadows is an ally to President Trump and a good and decent man. He also heads up the conservative Freedom Caucus. After Tlaib’s despicable outburst, he utterly destroyed her. Meadows demanded an immediate retraction as he should have. The New York Post reported, “Getting emotional, Meadows said his nieces and nephews are people of color and he rejected any notion he’s a racist.” The only racist I see here is Rashida Tlaib.

This woman is a bigot of epic proportions, so accusing anyone else of bigotry is hypocritical in the extreme. Here are just a few instances of her anti-Semitism:

  • Promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories;
  • Embraced anti-Semites and alleged Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers;
  • Supports anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions campaigns against Israel;
  • Does not support a two-state solution between Palestine and Israel;
  • Been photographed with Islamic terrorist sympathizers; and
  • Belonged to a Holocaust denier group.

Watch the exchange.

It wasn’t lost on some that Tlaib got Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings to defend Republican Mark Meadows.

Here is a partial transcript of the incident from Ryan Saavedra at The Daily Wire:

“Tlaib: Just to make a note Mr. Chairman, just because someone has a person of color, a black person working for them, does not mean they aren’t racist and it is insensitive that some would even say it’s the fact that someone would actually use a prop, a black woman in this chamber in this committee is alone racist in itself. Donald Trump is setting–

“Meadows: Mr. Chairman I ask that her words be taken down.

“Tlaib: I reclaim my time. Donald Trump is setting a precedent that the highest office can be—

“Meadows: Mr. Chairman. Mr. Chairman. Mr. Chairman the rules are clear.

“Tlaib: …cover up and hold on to business assets to break campaign finance laws and constitutional clauses what we have here, Mr. Chairman is criminal conduct and the pursuit of the highest public office by Mr. Cohen and individual one. I hope that the gravity of this situation hits everyone in this body, in Congress, and across this country. Thank You Mr. Chairman I yield the rest of my time.

“Meadows: Mr. Chairman I asked that her words, when she’s referring to an individual member of this body, be taken down and stricken from the record. I’m sure she didn’t intend to do this, but if anyone knows my record as it relates, it should be you Mr. Chairman.

[CROSS TALK]

“Cummings: Excuse me would you like to rephrase that statement Mrs. Tlaib?

“Tlaib: Thank You Mr. Chairman I can actually read it from here. Just to make a note Mr. Chairman that just because someone has a person of color, a black person working for them, does not mean they aren’t racist and it is insensitive that someone would even say racist they say it is racist in itself and to use a black woman as a prop to move to prove it otherwise and I can submit this for the record. If a colleague is thinking that that’s what I’m saying, I’m just saying that’s what I believed to have happened and if as a person of color in this committee that’s how I felt at that moment and I wanted to express that. But I am not calling the gentleman, Mr. Meadows a racist… so I’m saying that in itself it is a racist act.

“Meadows: Well I hope not Mr. chairman because I need to be clear on this particular… Mr. Chairman.

“Cummings: Mr. Mr. Mr. Meadows wait a minute.

“Meadows: I’ve defended you and false—

“Cummings: Mr. Meadows, I’m the chair!

“Meadows: Yes sir, you are.

“Cummings: I will clear this up. Now Mrs. Tlaib, I want to make sure I understand, you did not, you were not intending to call Mr. Meadows a racist, is that right?

“Tlaib: No, Mr. Chairman I do not call Mr. Meadows a racist. I am trying as a person of color Mr. Chairman just to express myself and how I felt at that moment and so just for the record that’s what was my intention.

“Meadows: Mr. Chairman, there’s nothing more personal to me than my relationship, my nieces and nephews, are people of color, not many people know that. You know that Mr. Chairman and to indicate that I asked someone who is a personal friend of the Trump family, who has worked for him, who knows this particular individual, that she’s coming in to be a prop, it’s racist to suggest that I asked her to come in here for that reason.

“Mr. President, the president’s own person, she’s a family member and she loves this family, she came in because she felt like the President of the United States was getting falsely accused. And Mr. Chairman you are, you and I have a personal relationship that’s not based on color and to even go down this direction is wrong Mr. Chairman.”

I am thrilled that Meadows stood up to her and the chairman of the committee Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD). It’s nice to see someone with a spine for a change call out these lying hypocrites and dare to go toe to toe with them.

VIDEO: Rashida Tlaib: Dems Discussing Arresting Trump Officials

It’s crystal clear..that the left should never ever be allowed into our government. These are dangerous folks.

Maybe Rashida should be arrested for her connections to Islamic terrorists. The fact that this woman is in our government…is despicable!

Via The Daily Wire:

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) stated on Tuesday that House Democrats were discussing behind closed doors how to arrest the members of President Donald Trump’s administration who did not comply with congressional subpoenas.

“Let me tell you, this is pretty — and this is the last caucus conversation we had. Do you know this is really unprecedented? This is the worst time we’ve ever had a situation like this,” Tlaib said during a town hall meeting. “So they’re trying to figure out — no joke — they’re trying to figure out, ‘Well, is it the D.C. police that goes and gets them?’ No, no.”

“What are we hoping? I mean, I’m not in those kinds of conversations, but I’m asking, like, you know, what happens? And they’re like, ‘Well, Rashida, we’re trying to figure it out ourselves because this is uncharted territory,’” she continued. “No, I’m telling you that they’re trying to be like, ‘Well, where are we going to put them? Where are we going to hold them?’ No, I mean those are the kinds of things they’re trying to tread carefully.”

Accordingly, in an escalating effort to force White House officials comply with congressional subpoenas, House Democrats have reportedly been reexamining holding those members of the administration in inherent contempt — a power that the legislature has not used since 1935.

The Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI) explains that inherent contempt is the oldest of three strategies that Congress can use to enforce subpoenas. According to the Washington, D.C.-based think tank:

“Since 1935, Congress has relied on the executive and judicial branches when people refuse to comply with congressional subpoenas. This practice makes sense: if Congress cannot get the information it needs on its own authority, then it can rely on the authority of the other branches of government. However, there is another option. Instead of turning to another branch, Congress can legally imprison or fine individuals who refuse to comply.”

Tlaib incorrectly suggested that the process could be enforced by the Washington, D.C. Police Department — the procedure actually only involves the chamber that is concerned. Following a contempt citation, the individual is arrested by the chamber’s sergeant-at-arms, and subsequently brought to the floor for punishment, which may include imprisonment.
