Christine Blasey Ford’s Attorney: Her Testimony Was Politically Motivated – WATCH

Published

on

I figured this was true a year ago but this confirms it. Christine Blasey Ford’s attorney Debra Katz told an audience at the University of Baltimore’s Feminist Legal Theory Conference in April that her client was politically motivated to testify against then-U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh concerning an alleged decades-old sexual assault. According to Katz, Blasey Ford, whose social media was notably scrubbed before her testimony, was concerned about Kavanaugh’s stance on abortion and how it might impact Roe v. Wade. Anyone surprised by this? Not me.

“In the aftermath of these hearings, I believe that Christine’s testimony brought about more good than the harm misogynist Republicans caused by allowing Kavanaugh on the court,” the attorney stated. She was the keynote speaker at the event. “We were going to have a conservative [justice] … Elections have consequences, but he will always have an asterisk next to his name. When he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade, we will know who he is, we know his character, and we know what motivates him, and that is important; it is important that we know, and that is part of what motivated Christine.”

From The Daily Wire:

“In a letter penned to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) last year, Blasey Ford claimed Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a house party in the early 1980s, though she said she was unable to specify exactly where or when the alleged incident took place. The dubious claim was uncorroborated, the alleged witnesses she named denying any knowledge of the party or outright refuting the accusation, and the Senate Judiciary Committee ultimately found that there was “no evidence to substantiate any of the claims.”

“In neither the committee’s investigation nor in the supplemental background investigation conducted by the FBI was there ANY evidence to substantiate or corroborate any of the allegations,” the Committee wrote.

“Reporter Ryan Lovelace, the author of “Search and Destroy: Inside the Campaign against Brett Kavanaugh” and the first to cover the circulating video, told “Fox & Friends” that Katz’s admission flies in the face of what the lawyer and Blasey Ford told the American people at the time of the testimony.

“For me, it raised two big things,” said Lovelace. “The first is it contradicts much of what Debra Katz said at the time as Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyer, that Christine Blasey Ford was ambivalent about all of this … and it contradicts… that Christine Blasey Ford was saying this was all about her ‘civic duty.'”

“My motivation in coming forward was to be helpful and to provide facts about how Mr. Kavanaugh’s actions have damaged my life and so you can take into serious consideration as you make your decision,” Blasey Ford said at the hearing. She also called her testimony her “civic duty” in GoFundMe messages to monetary supporters.

“Lovelace said his biggest question after listening to Katz is, if Blasey Ford was “working with all those organized forced that Debra Katz mentioned that had been trying to cancel Kavanaugh’s nomination from the very bringing and really even before he got picked?”

“Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court in early October.

“A single GoFundMe account for Blasey Ford racked up nearly $650,000 by the end of November.”

Judge Andrew Napolitano said Katz’s remarks are something the Department of Justice may want to investigate. He’s certainly right about that. No doubt about it.

“Why would she be saying this now and do we care what the motivation was for her allegations against now-Justice Kavanaugh?” Napolitano asked. Because they don’t fear any repercussions and they want conservatives to know they can go after them anytime, anywhere, for any reason and they stand a 50-50 chance of taking them down. It’s in-your-face extortion and bullying.

“We all watched this. She was a credible witness. He was a very credible witness. Neither changed anybody’s mind, apparently. So did she make these allegations because they really happened and she didn’t believe he was worthy of a seat on the Supreme Court or did she make these allegations because she believed he was going to get on the court and wanted to undermine his credibility in some future vote against Roe v. Wade?” Napolitano said. Of course, she did.

“What’s the worst-case scenario here? Did she make this whole story up? That would be perjury and probably conspiracy because others might have been involved. Does the Justice Department want to investigate this? Or is this just a lawyer saying ‘you know, we lost this, he’s on the court. We don’t like him,'” he said.

“One way to look at this is do we care what her motivation was now because it’s history. He has this lifetime position on the court and the people who hate him are going to hate him no matter what he does or was there some unlawful behavior here like lying or misleading under oath that the DOJ should be concerned about? And why would like come out of the mouth of that woman’s lawyer who was her protector?” he added.

We should all care and the DoJ should go after them for perjury, false accusations and for undermining the rule of law. You should not let people pull this kind of stunt and just walk away. It sets a very dangerous precedent. And Blasey Ford’s attorney should frankly be disbarred over this.

Blasey Ford’s accusations and testimony weren’t just meant to smear and discredit Kavanaugh to the point where he could not be confirmed as a justice, they were intended to smear his most consequential rulings in the future, in the event he made it onto the court. Specifically over abortion. This was a planned and calculated attack.

The truth is finally surfacing on all this but the question is, do we have the intestinal fortitude to go after these corruptocrats who are trying to manipulate and pack the Supreme Court? We better find it in ourselves to do so before we lose our country and our constitutional rights to Marxists who are actively plotting against us and attacking us whether we recognize it or not.

VIDEO: Rashida Tlaib: Dems Discussing Arresting Trump Officials

It’s crystal clear..that the left should never ever be allowed into our government. These are dangerous folks.

Maybe Rashida should be arrested for her connections to Islamic terrorists. The fact that this woman is in our government…is despicable!

Via The Daily Wire:

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) stated on Tuesday that House Democrats were discussing behind closed doors how to arrest the members of President Donald Trump’s administration who did not comply with congressional subpoenas.

“Let me tell you, this is pretty — and this is the last caucus conversation we had. Do you know this is really unprecedented? This is the worst time we’ve ever had a situation like this,” Tlaib said during a town hall meeting. “So they’re trying to figure out — no joke — they’re trying to figure out, ‘Well, is it the D.C. police that goes and gets them?’ No, no.”

“What are we hoping? I mean, I’m not in those kinds of conversations, but I’m asking, like, you know, what happens? And they’re like, ‘Well, Rashida, we’re trying to figure it out ourselves because this is uncharted territory,’” she continued. “No, I’m telling you that they’re trying to be like, ‘Well, where are we going to put them? Where are we going to hold them?’ No, I mean those are the kinds of things they’re trying to tread carefully.”

Accordingly, in an escalating effort to force White House officials comply with congressional subpoenas, House Democrats have reportedly been reexamining holding those members of the administration in inherent contempt — a power that the legislature has not used since 1935.

The Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI) explains that inherent contempt is the oldest of three strategies that Congress can use to enforce subpoenas. According to the Washington, D.C.-based think tank:

“Since 1935, Congress has relied on the executive and judicial branches when people refuse to comply with congressional subpoenas. This practice makes sense: if Congress cannot get the information it needs on its own authority, then it can rely on the authority of the other branches of government. However, there is another option. Instead of turning to another branch, Congress can legally imprison or fine individuals who refuse to comply.”

Tlaib incorrectly suggested that the process could be enforced by the Washington, D.C. Police Department — the procedure actually only involves the chamber that is concerned. Following a contempt citation, the individual is arrested by the chamber’s sergeant-at-arms, and subsequently brought to the floor for punishment, which may include imprisonment.
