CA Gov. Newsom: Mass Shootings Caused By Toxic Masculinity

Published

on

Well, at least California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom is providing everyone some comic relief these days. He’s pointing the finger of blame on the recent mass shootings and it’s not at President Trump or the Second Amendment. Nope. He’s blaming ‘toxic masculinity’ – whatever the hell that is. Personally, I like real men – not pampered, emasculated weenies like Gavin Newsom. I also like them sane.

During an emergency meeting on gun violence this week, Newsom said that the conversation on mass shootings should focus on toxic masculinity, given that such shootings “overwhelmingly, almost exclusively, are [committed by] males, boys, men.” What about the fact that most are liberals? Communists? How about nuts? Just plain evil? Exactly how many are on psych drugs? Gender has little to do with this.

“I do think that is missing in the national conversation,” Newsom said, according to HuffPost. “If there was anything more obvious, I don’t know what is, why it is that we’ve just come to accept that, that it’s been so normalized and sort of baked in, that it’s not even debated any longer. Why does it have to be, why is it men, dominantly, always?”

Yes, most shootings involve men. But that should spark conversations on parenting, gaming, cultural norms, and the lack of morality in American society today. Instead, Newsom said the conversation should focus on curtailing traditional masculinity. So, make all men fops? Make them women? Worse yet, remove gender altogether and make all of us serf machines, slaves to the elitists. Newsom is nuts.

“And I think that goes deep to the issue of how we raise our boys to be men, goes deeply to values that we tend to hold dear — power, dominance and aggression, over empathy, care, collaboration,” Newsome simpered. “That is a deeper conversation — forgive me — a more difficult one to have, but I want to just introduce that into this debate.”

From The Daily Wire:

“Newsom and the leftists who agree with him fail to understand that traits like aggression and dominance can be deeply important for young men when correctly directed. For instance, male aggression could be transformed into the courage required to face off against the kinds of toxic men that enact mass shootings. It’s the sort of courage that leads a man to lay down his life for others. Dominance could be transformed into leadership, providing young males an example to follow. Allie Stuckey put it well in a video for PragerU in which she proclaimed that society needs more masculinity to curtail violence — not less of it:

When you try to make men more like women, you don’t get less “toxic masculinity,” you get more.

“Why? Because bad men don’t become good when they stop being men; they become good when they stop being bad. Aggression, violence, and unbridled ambition can’t be eliminated from the male psyche; they can only be harnessed. And when they are harnessed, they are tools for good, not for harm.

“The same masculine traits that bring destruction also defeat tyranny. The traits that foster greed also build economies. The traits that drive men to take foolish risks also drive men to take heroic risks.

“The answer to toxic masculinity isn’t less masculinity; it’s better masculinity. And we know what that looks like.

“It’s a young man opening the door for a girl on their first date. It’s a father working long hours to provide for his family. It’s a soldier risking his life to defend his country.

“The growing problem in today’s society isn’t that men are too masculine; it’s that they’re not masculine enough. When men embrace their masculinity in a way that is healthy and productive, they are leaders, warriors, and heroes. When they deny their masculinity, they run away from responsibilities, leaving destruction and despair in their wake.

I agree with that adamantly. We have far too few real men anymore who are leaders, warriors, and heroes. More of that please… fewer man buns, fanny packs, and metro-sexuality. Ick.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) says the Republican Party has embraced toxic masculinity and xenophobia and predicts the supposed trends will cause the GOP to deteriorate to third-party status in coming years. He’s been squawking on this for months now. What he doesn’t get is that real men win wars and lead governments. Not effete, weak communists.

B-List Actors Alyssa Milano & Rosie O’Donnell Head Trump ‘Impeachment Task Force’

You would think this is hilarious satire..but it’s not. Has-been actors truly believe that America looks to them for political advice. I know..I can’t stop laughing.

This is how insane and delusional the left is. Remember how they told us to accept the 2008 election results and just deal with it? Here we are…and they still can’t handle that Trump is President. They stay on twitter for hours..ranting, whining and lying about the President. The left should never ever allowed in power. Let these lunatics be a reminder to you when you go to vote in 2020.

Dear Hollywood has-beens, Americans don’t give a flying crap about what you have to say. You ain’t going to impeach the President. He’s not going anywhere. For the sake of America..go away. Don’t lecture the people about politics. No one looks to you for what’s going on in our country.

Just wait until Trump wins 2020…..

Via The Daily Wire:

If you’re worried about the current state of democracy, fear not: Alyssa Milano, Rosie O’Donnell, and their rich anti-Trump friends are here to save America … by working to remove the duly elected president from office.

Feel better now?

According to a Newsweek report, a group called The Democratic Coalition has created a star-studded “Impeachment Task Force” (seriously) “seeking to hold Trump ‘accountable for his betrayal of America.’”

The task force is “designed to lead rapid response to Trump during the impeachment inquiry,” according to The Democratic Coalition co-founder and Twitter #Resistance king Scott Dworkin.

In addition to Milano and O’Donnell, the group has landed actors Ron Perlman, George Takei, Debra Messing, and Tom Arnold to use their “massive social media following to protect House Democrats in the front lines of the impeachment inquiry on Trump.”

“The task force launched a fundraising effort and basic plan on Thursday. The group has already started meeting and is set to go live with its website next week,” Newsweek reported.

Dworkin pointed to “Trump’s propaganda machine” as motivation in the creation of his elite task force.

“Trump’s propaganda machine is going to be in overdrive for the foreseeable future, so we need to be fighting every day, in every way,” he said.

“For now, impeachment is the only way to hold him accountable for his betrayal of America,” the task force’s chairman Jon Cooper added.

Dworkin is extremely optimistic that his ragtag group of celebs “will without a doubt, absolutely, overpower Trump’s propaganda machine.”

As you might recall, during the 2016 presidential election, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton had scores of celebrities come out to support her publicly — such as Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, LeBron James, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Bruce Springsteen, Robert De Niro, Lady Gaga, Jon Bon Jovi, Meryl Streep, Amy Schumer, and many, many others. As you might also recall, Hillary lost the 2016 election.

But it’s different this time. Or something.

“We’ve been one of the key groups fighting his propaganda machine for three and a half years,” Dworkin bragged. “We’ve learned a lot. And it’s kind of led us to this moment.”

WATCH: Photo Of College Student Praying Over Deputy In Restaurant Goes VIRAL

In today’s highly charged political climate, it’s always nice to have something in the news that isn’t negative. Last weekend, we got some rare, good news for a change.

A sheriff’s deputy & his wife were dining at a restaurant in east-central Florida when they were approached by a young man who asked if he could pray for the officer.

The encounter left the deputy’s wife in tears, and the rest of us cheering.

The Tampa Bay Times reported:

“For all of the venom and vitriol that fill our social media feeds, there are feel-good stories, too.

A reminder came this past weekend, when the wife of a Florida deputy shared a photo on Facebook describing an encounter at a Zaxby’s restaurant in DeLand in which a young man approached her husband, Cameron, and offered to pray over him for his protection.

“Tonight was a night that I will never forget. This picture is a reminder of God’s constant love and perfect timing. Tonight we had an amazing encounter with an incredible young man named Juan. He came up to Cameron and asked is he could pray over him and his protection. After crying my eyes out we got to have an amazing conversation with this gentleman. He was on FIRE for God and you could feel His presence in the room. He said that he had felt compelled to talk to us and to pray over Cameron, Justine Tucker wrote.”

“The man, Juan O’Neal, is a student at Stetson University, according to his Facebook page.

As of Wednesday morning, the post had more than 42,000 reactions, 4,900 comments and 21,000 shares.

The post especially connected with Facebook users thirsting for positive news about people in their community.

“This is one of the main reasons why I stay connected to FB,” responded Reginald D. Alston. “There is love, kindness, compassion, respect, and general sense of caring among most people that seems to take a backseat to negativity and chaos all too often.”

“With everything that is wrong in America today, thank you for sharing this,” wrote Emily Broome Garrison. “It’s proof there’s still so much that is right!”

“People need these stories,” echoed Rachelle Bman.

Said Max Ludwig, “It’s great to wake up and see a beautiful post like this.”

“This gave me goosebumps!” wrote Monica Diaz.

Wondered Robert Cuccio, “Why are there not more stories of wonderful people like Juan?”

Tucker posted a segment from the local Fox station that covered the interaction.

WTVM9 reported of O’Neal:

“O’Neal says he never intended for the photo to go viral. In fact, he didn’t intend for a photo to be taken at all.

He says that he simply wanted to pray over Volusia County Sheriff’s Deputy Cameron Tucker.

“He grew up you know, dad is a [retired] police officer, a [retired] detective with the Columbus Police Department. So he knows some of the struggles, some of the things his dad had to go through,” said Juan’s mother Leisa O’Neal. “So for him to see another officer, he had an instant connection I’m sure, so it’s no big deal. I’m sure he was compelled to pray for him for everything that is going on in the world and the community so I think it was something he felt like he needed to do.”

“I just did what I felt like God was telling me to do,” said Juan O’Neal.

Juan is a senior at Stetson University in Florida. His mother says he is planning on commissioning into the U.S. Army in May.”

While all around us we seem to be bombarded with negativity, it’s great to see some of the next generation who haven’t forgotten what’s important in this life.

Hats off to O’Neal, and may he be successful in his endeavors.
