Astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson Tweets Stats After Shootings – Leftists Lose Their Minds

Published

on

Astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson sent out a factual tweet after the mass shootings over the weekend. The tweet contained proven facts on guns and shootings. The left proceeded to lose their minds and shred the poor guy… who, by the way, is not a conservative by any stretch of the imagination. The meltdown on the left was epic and insane.

Tyson tweeted: “In the past 48hrs, the USA horrifically lost 34 people to mass shootings. On average, across any 48hrs, we also lose … 500 to Medical errors. 300 to the Flu. 250 to Suicide. 200 to Car Accidents. 40 to Homicide via Handgun. Often our emotions respond more to spectacle than to data.”

According to The Daily Wire, the numbers that Tyson tweeted out appear to be accurate, except for the statistic about the number of deaths that occur over a 48-hour period from medical errors. A Johns Hopkins University study claims that 250,000 people die per year in the U.S. from medical errors, which equates to 684 deaths per day — or 1,300+ deaths over a 48-hour period.

Every leftist gun-control activist out there went into a tailspin after that tweet. A tweetstorm descended upon Tyson with the attendant fury you would expect from dedicated Marxists who hate constitutional rights and freedoms.

From The Daily Wire:

“Far-left anti-gun activist Shannon Watts, who has a history of lying, tweeted: “Cold take, Neil. 200+ Americans died from gun violence in the past 48 hours. And you list causes of death that are researched, regulated and also happen in other high-income countries. Our gun violence crisis is preventable and senseless and driven by a special interest.”

“Notorious anti-Semite Marc Lamont Hill tweeted: “This is dumb.”

“Qatari-funded Al Jazeera employee Sana Saeed tweeted: “oh cool. found the worst take imaginable on mass shootings, everyone.”

“Ethan Klein tweeted: “Neil says it’s all good guys! Apparently we don’t need to worry about mass shootings because it kills less people than the Flu.”

“Tyson later cowered to the online mob and apologized for stating facts, writing in a statement:

Yesterday, a Tweet I posted in reaction to the horrific mass shootings in America over the previous 48 hours, killing 34 people, spawned mixed and highly critical responses.

“If you missed it, I offered a short list of largely preventable causes of death, along with their average two-day death toll in the United States. They significantly exceeded the death toll from the two days of mass shootings, including the number of people (40) who on average die from handgun homicides every two days.

“I then noted that we tend to react emotionally to spectacular incidences of death, with the implication that more common causes of death trigger milder responses within us.

“My intent was to offer objectively true information that might help shape conversations and reactions to preventable ways we die. Where I miscalculated was that I genuinely believed the Tweet would be helpful to anyone trying to save lives in America. What I learned from the range of reactions is that for many people, some information –-my Tweet in particular — can be true but unhelpful, especially at a time when many people are either still in shock, or trying to heal – or both.

“So if you are one of those people, I apologize for not knowing in advance what effect my Tweet could have on you. I am therefore thankful for the candor and depth of critical reactions shared in my Twitter feed. As an educator, I personally value knowing with precision and accuracy what reaction anything that I say (or write) will instill in my audience, and I got this one wrong.

“Respectfully Submitted
“Neil deGrasse Tyson

Responses toward the celebrity scientist and Harvard grad made Tyson the No. 1 trending topic in America on Twitter, ranking alongside the following hashtags: #ThisIsAmerica, #WhiteSupremacistTerrorism, and #TrumpTerrorists. I was disgusted when Tyson seemed to cave on this and walk it back. Facts don’t lie but leftists sure do.

Pardon my lack of sensitivity here, but this is just dumb. Tyson’s tweet was correct and appropriate. It’s these leftists that are idiots here. They love Tyson when he’s making fun of Christianity or God in general, but put out factual stats on guns and mass shootings and they didn’t hesitate to turn on him like a pack of rabid red wolves.

Shots Fired Into ICE Offices In San Antonio After Leftist Threats, FBI Investigating ‘Targeted Attack’

Published

on

Terrorists masquerading as open border activists shot into an ICE office in San Antonio, Texas. This was after they made threats to commit violence. The FBI is now investigating this as a targeted attack based on political rhetoric. Another group of radicals threatened employees of a government contractor in Florida that provides facility space for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency to detain border crossers and illegal aliens the day before this happened. It looks like revolutionary violence has arrived.

Breitbart News, who dares to conduct actual reporting, captured footage of protesters with Never Again Action, Miramar Circle of Protection Friends of Miami-Dade Detainees, Food Not Bombs Fort Lauderdale, Students Working for Equal Rights, and the Black Lives Matter Alliance of Broward County who shouted threats at workers and former employees of the GEO Group, a private contractor used by ICE for facility and detention space. In other words… communists.

One of these violent radicals directly threatened GEO Group’s former general counsel John Bulfin, shouting the locations and addresses of where his children live in the United States. That’s called doxxing and the left is doing if more and more… paging Joaquin Castro who doxxed President Trump’s donors there in San Antonio. The same city as the shooting… hmmm… I detect a trend.

“We know where all your children live throughout the country … John Bulfin you have kids in [bleeped out], you have kids in [bleeped out],” the protester shouted. “We know everything about you and you won’t just be seeing us here.”

“We know where you sleep at night,” another protester shouted. “We know what kind of dog food you buy your dogs.”

“We’re not actually joking,” the protester said before shouting the location of where Bulfin lives. “John Bulfin you go to [bleeped out], you go to church on [bleeped out], you live on [bleeped out the] road. We are not joking.”

From Breitbart:

“The threats came just a day before gunmen allegedly fired shots into local ICE offices and GEO Group offices in San Antonio, Texas in what the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is describing as a “targeted attack.”

“These shootings were cowardly, brazen, violent acts, absolutely without justification and a threat to our entire community,” San Antonio FBI Chief Christopher Combs told KSAT 12. “An attempt to attack federal employees is a federal crime with serious consequences … I don’t think there is a question that they knew which floor the ICE office is on,” said Combs during a press conference Tuesday afternoon at the scene, adding that all the rounds that were recovered were found on the floor that ICE occupies.”

“To fire indiscriminately into any building is not an act of a protest but an act of violence,” Combs said.

“In an interview with Breitbart News, GEO Group VP of Corporate Relations Pablo Paez said the protest threatening the contractor’s employees is “incredibly reckless.”

“The safety of our employees is our top priority and we will do whatever it takes to ensure that their safety and their security remains our top priority,” Paez said. He went on:

“These are politically motivated attacks. We have been a services provider to the federal government for over 30 years. The fact is that the services we provide in our facilities today are in no way different than the high quality, professional services under the same standards that we provided for eight years under President Obama’s administration. So where was the outrage then?

“Last year, “abolish ICE” protesters targeted agents in the city of Portland, Oregon, shouting racial slurs at Hispanic and black American ICE officers, Breitbart News reported. Those same abolish ICE activists also videotaped themselves beheading a doll of President Donald Trump. The images depicted Trump’s head being chopped off with a guillotine.”

What kind of sicko threatens peoples’ children, families, and dogs like this? Oh, that’s right… leftist ones. You don’t see this on the right.

The shooting occurred around 3 a.m. at an ICE building where two floors that housed administrative and executive offices were targeted, according to the San Antonio Express-News. The outlet reported another shooting occurred at a separate facility where an ICE contractor was located.

All of the shots that we have found are on the floors where ICE had offices,” Combs said. “This is no question a very targeted attack. It’s not a secret facility, you can go online, it’s [the address is] out there. So they did some research, they knew what floors ICE was on, they knew what buildings they were and they hit those.”

One guy was taken into custody and then released because he wasn’t the one who did the shooting.

Daniel Bible, the field office director for the agency’s enforcement and removal operations in San Antonio, blamed the shooting on elected officials, the media and activists for a breakdown in political discourse that has encouraged violent acts.

“Political rhetoric and misinformation that various politicians, media outlets and activist groups recklessly disseminate to the American people regarding the ICE mission only serve to further encourage these violent acts,” Bible told Fox News affiliate, KABB-TV. “ICE officers put their lives on the line each and every day to keep our communities safe. This disturbing public discourse shrouds our critical law enforcement function and unnecessarily puts our officers’ safety at risk.”

“We are concerned that there could be additional attacks, we have to stop that,” Combs said. “We can not allow political discourse to lead us to the point of violence, where federal employees, innocent people doing their jobs are put in harm’s way.”

These people knew exactly who they were shooting at. And yes, there were people in the building at that time of night. They won’t be satisfied until someone dies over this. Actually, if you count the dead Antifa terrorist who firebombed an ICE facility in Tacoma, Washington, someone already has.

AZ Court Of Appeals: No Death Penalty For Illegal Accused Of Murdering Grant Ronnebeck

Published

on

...

* By

Makes you wonder how many of these judges are on the take from the cartels.

How many more Americans are going to be slaughtered by illegal aliens? These judges are despicable and should be held accountable for the things they do.

The Democrat party is responsible for every single American murdered by an illegal alien.

Via Breitbart:

An Arizona court made official this week that the illegal alien charged with murdering 21-year-old Grant Ronnebeck will not face the death penalty because of his alleged “intellectual disability.”

Last month, Judge Michael Kemp ruled that 34-year-old illegal alien Apolinar Altamirano was not eligible for the death penalty because he had a fifth-grade education and was unable to obtain special education because he grew up in rural Mexico. Last year, Kemp ruled that prosecutors in the case would not be allowed to mention that Altamirano was an illegal alien who had been living in the U.S. for more than 20 years.

This week, the Arizona Court of Appeals reinforced Kemp’s decision, telling prosecutors that they would not be allowed to seek the death penalty against Altamirano.

On January 22, 2015, Altamirano entered a QuickTrip convenience store in Mesa, Arizona, where Ronnebeck worked as a store clerk, and allegedly shot the young man to death after demanding a pack of cigarettes, Breitbart News reported at the time.

After shooting and killing Ronnebeck, prosecutors say Altamirano stepped over the body of the young man to grab a couple more packs of cigarettes before fleeing the scene. Following the alleged murder, the illegal alien sent police on a high-speed chase and was eventually arrested and taken into custody.

At the time of the alleged murder, Altamirano — an alleged self-proclaimed member of the Sinaloa Cartel — had been out of police custody on bond despite having orders to be deported from the U.S.

Prosecutors will continue seeking a first-degree murder conviction for Altamirano.

“Our children are worth … it’s blood on [the Democrats’] hands,” Angel Dad Steve Ronnebeck said during a press conference for Angel Families in June. ” … I made a promise right after Grant died that I was going to keep fighting for Grant and keep fighting for the American people. What the American people don’t understand is that it’s going to happen to them or somebody they know … with so many people coming across our border.”
